I think they eventually try to get admin rights to your Facebook account, usually so they can post on your behalf (they say it’s to place ads on your page for you or in this case, stream the “podcast” on my page) then they change your password, re route any earnings you have to their bank accounts and just like that, your account is stolen. It’s a crazy scam they run, but sadly people fall for it all the time.
