I sold some of these guns side by side with the ATF in Houston, 15 Bushmasters, one Barrett 50 cal scoped out in a hard case and probably 10 pistols. No 5.7's from us. All other gun stores like Carter Country, Collectors Firearms passed on this deal. Apparently he was in there stores trying to do a multiple but they suspected something and told the ATF, But Jim Pruett, formerly from Stevens&Pruett Radio 101 Houston now gun store owner took the deal providing he would keep the money from this sale and nothing would happen to him. We ordered the rifles because we didn't have 15 in stock, the Barrett we had. The Mexican paid cash half up front and a week later the guns came in from RSR outta Dallas and he came late one night around 6 pm. We (ATF and us) loaded them in a pickup truck and he took off. Now supposedly as told to us by the ATF guy working with us they had 3 vehicles tailing him and a Chopper in the sky. The very next day they called Jim Pruett and said they lost him on 610 in heavy traffic. That's our side of F&F, sounds pretty F'd up but it's the truth, the ATF lied to us because those fkers let him go. When Pruett sold them he was under the impression that this dude was getting busted that night but it didn't happen. I posted this on FB many many years ago and they scrubbed it within 10 minutes and just who the F did that because it wasn't against community standards back then. Obama's trolls did it I guarantee you, He was President then!
As a gun owner we were talking about this before the news, gun shop in AZ were forced to make these sell even though they start to get wise to what the atf was doing. Some shops closed because of what the atf was doing. Most of all it pissed alot of gun owners off.

My understanding is that under Bush, there was cooperation with Mexico to track these weapons and make stings. Under Obama, the weapons were allowed to walk: no cooperation, no tracking devices, and FFL dealers were ordered to make the sales even when they called it in as suspicious.
