@Fuck You I don't know but it is happening. Rwanda for example has been having great economic growth, around 6,7% per year for a while now, more and more people can afford food and basic stuff. They slashed red tape to one of the lowest in the world, that can be one of the reasons. Still far far away from first world though
Borders between countries exist for the same reason we have fences/walls between lots in neighborhood. Even if I am friends with my neighbors I do not want their dog coming over and making a dump on my lawn.
More then once the border patrol has shot & killed somebody under shady circumstances, the problem is that there is no accountability, it happened under Obama but now that we have a "nationalist" in the white house running the show, they are more emboldened than ever. I feel so bad for that young girl, there is nothing wrong in wanting to seek a better life, not everybody has the money let alone the years it takes to come here legally. They aren't animals, they are people who have families that care for them, they might be breaking a law but they ain't hurting nobody. It's disgusting how so many people are quick to demonize any illegal immigrant & deny them any mercy. If i valued the rule of law over having empathy for my fellow I think i would pause & reflect on that. Even Jesus was a refugee, I'd like to think that had I been given the chance, I would have been one of the those who welcomed them in, instead of shutting the door right in his family's face... to bad not everybody feels that way, we live in selfish & uncaring times these days, there's no love or compassion anymore... Those migrants came to Paris to find a better life.....and they didn't find it. They're living in the streets and turning the destination of hope into the destination of despair. Just showing up doesn't guarantee a better life.
France won the World Cup thanks to the great youth programs in the 1990s to keep a lot of kids, especially migrants, out of trouble. When countries embrace and nurture immigrants to assimilate into the country's culture we see great success stories. When we marginalize large groups that come here as children they feel "left out" and grow apathy to the country their parents brought them to. We're seeing the change in policies towards immigrants in Paris and we're now starting to see them "not care" about a country that doesn't accept them. It's what we're seeing here in the states. A large group of Americans view immigrants as "low class" and act that way towards them. It's how African Americans were viewed in the 70s, the country was de-segregated but most southern white citizens viewed blacks as "low class" so those children grew up with hatred/apathy towards the country.

Immigration causes the poorer countries to get poorer. If the US, UK, or similar countries only take the skilled people in then the country those people left will suffer. How can a country build itself if the only people who can make a difference keep leaving.
That's actually a huge problem in Eastern European and Balkan countries. Most people who can make a change simply leave and follow better opportunities. Can't really blame them. I know a lot of them here in Switzerland.

Benjamin Myers you do known that the majority of homeless people in LA are from other states right? They go to California to Tun from the cold weather from other states.
LA is way better than 90% of the world's cities. Don't confuse your own perception of poverty - with actual poverty. Poverty in wealthy countries is a different kind of problem than the ones in third world countries. In the 3rd world, most people are poor. Doctors and lawyers are poor. City Mayors are poor. Engineers are poor. There is absolute privation there, and many of the social systems that enable for the generation of wealth simply don't exist. People who could be Mark Cuban are selling vegetables out of a stall. It's a colossal huge waste of human potential. @geezusispan so what about the ones not appregended at the border? But even if thats true, dosnt that mean that about 30% of illegals come through the border?
@geezusispan anywhere from 50,000 -100,000 illegals come through every month. So thats 15,000-30,000 illegals through the border. It will never end. Because there are so many, that money would do nothing for the 70%. So build the fence or wall. Whatever you wanna call it. Why didn’t they define what “Third World” means? 1st world = US, 2nd world = Russia, 3rd World = Countries that initially didn’t side with either the US or Russia, which became contested from the end of WW2 through the 1980’s (in other words, the canvas for the Cold War). The reason why we associate Third World Nations with poverty and “in the process of development” is because they were torn apart by coups, government toppling, and millions of people killed. Guatemala for example, democratically elected a Communist president in the early 50’s, and the US staged a coup and put in place a government that was friendly to Washington. Shit they don’t teach you in school. Without knowing these facts, people easily say “well, why don’t they fix their home country instead of coming here?”
Lui Franco That’s the story of every society that has ever existed man. It’s natural order and always has been. You don’t just freely exist geographically, exerting whatever natural resources that a people stumbles upon, and just sit there claiming it to be yours. Societies must be able to defend a boundary or they are not a society any longer than the point where they are overthrown by another society so that it can provide now for its people. Third world countries are third world countries primarily because they are developed and are dependent on stronger countries, whether you like hearing it or not. If the powers that be wanted any third world country wiped off the planet, they’d do it in less than a week. It’s plain survival of the strongest and predates the Bronze Age which a modern third world country still has not arrived at, to be completely honest. Look, I’ve lived in 2 third world countries before and I took from the people some very special and spiritual perspectives about life. Within the poverty, I saw a more enriched way of living within the natural world and I noticed that most of them were by in large more joyful with so little, than the rest of the greedy ass world is with everything. But the fact of the matter is that underdeveloped nations are underdeveloped by cultural norms and by choice. They are not victims of the evil super countries either, rather they have been protected by them for centuries. The victim narrative doesn’t apply here and although Rogan is a very interesting guy, he’s not a very insightful thinker when it comes to reality.

A world without borders is a world where some cultures actually can coexist because their similarities, But not all cultures can coexist because of different world views, religion is a big part of that.. Just look at Europe at this moment, Europe and the middle east can't to a large extent coexist under the same roof. Its sad but that is a reality... and i has all to do with the difference in Culture and religion.
Exactly. Multiculturalism as a concept has been implemented for hundreds of years for example through food, music, research, technology and work force migration. We don't need to forcefully coexist in the same country with our different cultures to share information. On one hand it blows my fucking mind how hard this is to understand for some people but then again, ideologies have brainwashed uneducated and unaware people before so it's nothing new.
Bro just shut up. If you can't fish how did you become a man that needs to be taught? Feed yourself like you have since birth. Or do you want a new mommy and make the world take that position for you?

My point is wherever you grew and survived your culture should've had a history of acquiring food depending on the region. Why all of a sudden you need a new breast to suckle on without effort?
Until you have something within your borders that is in need by others not having it. Borders bring no peace at all, it only prevents the "weaker" from obtaining what you "hold" from the rest...until enough of them focus themselves into the direction of taking it away from you. That is what wars are all about. Obtaining and maintaining. Instead we could all just realise that this planet has PLENTY of resources to sustain us all multiple times over, even more so with what we as a species are capable of technologically. Especially us commoners need to learn this simple notion! As pretty much all wars are fought for the benefit of only a select few.

You could spend more time fishing and with the proceeds buy a bigger boat, and with the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats until eventually you would have a whole fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to the middleman you could sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. You could control the product, processing and distribution.” Then he added, “Of course, you would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City where you would run your growing enterprise.” The Mexican fisherman asked, “But señor, how long will this all take?” To which the American replied, “15-20 years.” “But what then?” asked the Mexican. The American laughed and said, “That's the best part. When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich. You could make millions.” “Millions, señor? Then what?” To which the investment banker replied, “Then you would retire. You could move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your guitar with your amigos.”
