The 7th additional string is the lower string which is in B. It goes in order of E B G D A E and again next is B. :)

Love this song. Bought the tab book to learn it and was crushed when I saw it was tabbed for a 7 string.

Well he has definately updated his clothing since Montreaux 88, were the hell did he buy that stuff? Nicest playing style on the planet though

@maoriguitarman You obviously haven't paid much attention to some of Steve Vai's songs and performances. Remeber, Joe taught Steve how to play the guitar. Plus, steve makes awesome faces while playing.
