Great chat Kylie. Joe is amazing. The emotion he can get out of six strings is phenomal. The forgotten part II from flying in a blue dream while sad lifts me every time. You will 150% improve from him
Thank you for your encouragement Phil, means a lot to hear that from other players that have already done the hard work! And yes you are right, Joe is an incredible player and such a nice guy too.
Been watching/listening to so many Joe's interviews. But I never get tired of them. Spending time with your all time favorite guitar player, releasing again, an amazing album! It's just a treat. Cherry on the cake...Kylie! You made my day!
For me, Joe is the GOAT. I know it's completely objective when it comes to music but for me it's because Joe is a virtuoso and a real student of the instrument.
Joe along with Nuno are the players that inspired me when I picked up the guitar many years ago and to this day they are both my heroes, fantastic interview 🤘👍
Thank you Craig! I totally agree with you about Joe and Nuno being great players... when you talk to Nuno you can understand why he plays the way he does as you can tell his mind is going 100 miles an hour just like his playing.
first time i heard Joe's music, was immediately hooked for life. love Joe and his personality. such an amazing person and my biggest inspiration in life. Thank You for the interview
I think the situation and expectations to let them take all the time they wanted to get their parts right really paid off! It’s one of my favorite Joe albums!
Been a big fan since Surfing released and bought every album Joe has released - inc Elephants of Mars today. Also got to see him live in the UK in '96 with Steve Vai on their G3 tour... Incredibly humble and an amazing guitarist...
@@KylieOlsson I felt 'lucky' to get to see a few of my 'heroes' perform live, but you get to talk to them, spend time with them, get to know them etc and likely to get the chance in the future to see them perform live too
It would be literally be beyond thought itself if Joe could do a collab with Mike Hutchinson from Clark Hutchinson, Mike is still playing today , a very humble man that has taught thousands of people. Please. Xx
I took up the guitar after seeing Joe on TV playing a concert called Guitar Legends Expo '92 hosted by Brian May. Met him a few times. 30 years later I still struggle playing his stuff 😆🎸🙌🔥
@@KylieOlsson mind you, I saw Joanne Shaw Taylor on Saturday night in Sunderland and was totally blown away! Phenomenal stuff. Have you interviewed her yet Kylie?
´◔‿ゝ◔`)━☞ Aloha Kylie, hope your well today. When I was a radio DJ here in Hawaii at KPOI/98 Rock ( classic rock station ) I got to see Joe at a daytime concert at the University of Hawaii in the mid 1990's. Good show. Always liked him. Rock on 😎🤙🎸
When things are really better & safe in the world you'll always have a tour guide in Hawaii to show you around . p.s. check out my last vid on my channel, shows how to get different sounds on a modeling amp; I believe your Marshall amp has some built-in effects.
