He's a world class coach and man is Joe (i'm a Bok fan). i really wish him well - after this weekend that is. And i do hope Aussie rugby gets stronger and stronger again. it's important for the health of world rugby.

Have to agree, wallabies in good hands, as bok supporter and wallabies as 2nd I am glad he is in charge. He is dea l jnf with cards dealt and incremental improvement. Good for rugby

I have huge respect for Joe Schmidt. He will get the Wallabies "right" again. Like with Rassie, the change wasn't immediately evident. Joe is a wonderful person and a great coach. I am a South African, though, and I support the Boks. But I don't like seeing opposition going to "sh*t". I do love it though when the Springboks puts a number on the Wallabies and the All Blacks, though.

The wallabies have broken a lot of great coaches over the past 2 decades, You have a big Job Joe Schmidt. Time to start from scratch basic rugby, keep possession, spread the work load between forwards and back.

I think Joe is doing a good job. Keen to see how this team develops.

Joe was honest when he says he knows the Bok players better that he knows his players.

Wish the sports journos, minimal as their contributions are, would listen to Joe and stop doing what they always do and stir up trouble We’re up against all World Cup semi finalists with a bunch of newbies. We are transitioning. Build interest if you care for rugby.

As a Springbok fan, yes, I want the Boks to win, but World Rugby needs a strong Wallabies Team. Let's never forget, they were the 1st team to win 2 World Cups 🏆Between the Boks, All Blacks, Wallabies & Pumas, the southern hemisphere once dominated world rugby. Let's hope the ARU backs Joe and allows him to rebuild.

As a Springbok supporter I hope the Wallabies stick with Joe.... Its going to take time... Australia must just take this championship as a stepping stone to a view moving forward.. Even if you lose all the games Australia musnt gt down hearted. For you guys your goal is to get to that stage where you can compete the the British Lions next year.. That's what you need to work towards.

Joe is right they are competing against 3 out of 4 Rugby World Cup Semifinalists lol thats puts things into perspective how difficult this comp is (not taking away anything from the Northern hemisphere)

The boks fielding a few new combinations will you guys be exploiting the inside pass more often ? Wit Whites experience are we going to see more sniping attack from the ruck? Also on attack do you think White shud be at times attacking from first receiver

I'm really hoping the wallabies bounce back hard and fast and give the boks a run for their money! We need the southern hemisphere teams to remain strong! From a bok supporter!

Still not learning about playing three good jumpers that is our biggest mistake again so there goes set pieces. I also think it was Alaatoa and Salakaia-Loto had a tough time last game not the Loosehead side.

Joe is class i really hope to see the Wallabies back to their former glory. The fact rugby league is more popular is a real shame. The Aussies i know enjoy the physical stuff and competing for dominance. Rugby league is essentially touch rugby with a few teams playing. Come on Aussies, why have you became so weak???

Damn... Was getting used to a wallaby team without Nic White. I'm sorry, but he has such a silly face, with a sillier mustache. If ever a face screamed 'slap me', it's Nic White's. I wonder if he'll take a dive again.

@@paulcrosland6693 He would have found a hole to hide in during the war. Honestly, a rugby player that takes a dive like he did has no self respect. Clearly he should play football, but I think they have a ban against silly moustaches.

Schmidt keeps on selecting teams that are too small. He did it at Ireland as well. Amatosero is 6,8 and 130 helps with size and scrum and takes the ball up well. Neither AA nor Nongoorr can scrum. May as well go with Pone as he at least trucks the ball up hard and breaks tackles and is on the same level as them at scrum time. Paisami goes missing against big teams. Better off going for Foketi and bring back Hodge. Maybe a vunivalu for some additional X factor as he played pretty well for QLd this year. Wright once again horrible under the high ball better off with the young bloke from QLD with Hodge mentoring him. Be good to see Leota back soon as Harry Wilson is not a tackle buster, no step and no leg drive after contact. Gleeson looks a better option till then as seems a meter or two quicker.
