Man, i would give anything to just be able to sit down with him and just talk for hours. I love talking to the older guys who've been in the business for so long. Truly one of the legends.
An ABSOLUTE LEGEND! I know it's the digital age, but the traditional way is and always will be the absolute best! The traditional way may not be the fastest, but it's the best. They were and are the real craftsmen!
Traditional still looks the best, I don't like the look of a lot of modern comics. I know that digital is easier and you can do more with it but for me it kind of sucks the soul out of it
@@timcolivet7343, Yeah I feel the same way about penciling. I am a penciller, putting actual pencil to paper still gives me a thrill, it's my passion, it's what I absolutely love to do! Right now I'm drawing a story that involves two of my characters, plus Kamandi and two of my favorite Saturday morning heroes Thundarr the Barbarian and The Mighty Mightor! Had an idea for an adventure, so I'm drawing it!
@@timcolivet7343, No, I don't have a website, truth is I mostly draw just for my own enjoyment, especially these days with this Covid going on. It helps to keep me sane. Do you have a website, are you an artist, I would love to see some of your work if so!
Legend!! Same desk for 58 years! You just have this immense amount of respect just listening to him. Would have loved to see extended clips of him working.
Thank you so much for autographing my comic book its an honor to have and thank you for the voice message by the way this is Dana you gave it to my son this saturday at Rhode Island comic con 11/1/14 I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee Spider-Man
I watched this in awe of a true master. Also w some sadness because the world will never see this type of amazing embellisher again as printed comics are dying and increasingly done thru digital means.
This video is like gold! Thank you very much for sharing. BTW, a few years ago, a video was produced showing Joe's inking techniques. Do you have info on this? I must get one. I'm a HUGE Sinnott fan!
very nice. Please sir can you tell me why the table is always at an angle ....plus for life drawing it is always horizontal....might be a simple question but why ? thx
