Joe had more character development in 1 year than some characters have had in their entire run. Why does Emmerdale always get rid of the best characters, especially in 2018!
@Qasim Hussain Definitely! When Kim ordered Graham to kill Joe, he should have just killed her, problem solved! Then Joe could have stayed in the show and married Debbie.
@Qasim Hussain He is alive, Kim found CCTV footage of him in Monte Carlo withdrawing money from her account but he could never return to the village for his own safety. That's why Cain and Graham fought, because Cain found out Graham let him feel guilty for something he didn't do.
@Qasim Hussain It must be him because why would some random guy in another country be taking out of Kim's account. Also there was a scene where Graham speaks to Joe on the phone, saying this is the last time we can talk. We never heard his voice, but it was him on the other end of the call.
@Qasim Hussain I would love to see Joe again, he should have came back in January and avenged Graham's death. Corrie hasn't been terrible lately but not great either, Geoff not dying after months of build up was a complete waste of time, just so they can drag the already lengthy storyline out even longer. Also it encourages victims of domestic abuse not to defend themselves which just shows how much Corrie really cares about these "important issues". I'm not looking forward to this racism storyline because Corrie have portrayed the subject terribly in the past, and that old people storyline in the home wtf even was that? There is good stuff though, like David vs gangs, he goes after another one soon which should be good, and Gary's storyline would be brilliant if it wasn't moving so slowly (I know everything is moving slowly right now but this story was slow before the pandemic as well). What do you think? Also, what do you think of EastEnders at the moment, personally I think it's becoming unwatchable, which is a crying shame because last year I was praising it as no.1 soap.
@Qasim Hussain Yeah, she also keeps wearing those baggy long sleeve tops with those really short skirts, she looks like a cereal box on legs! And yeah, character wise she's a mess, I couldn't believe how she tried to take the moral high ground when the Sheanu affair was revealed, I know Phil was kind of a villain in that story but Sharon started the whole thing and then acted like she did nothing wrong. And then she got everyone to turn on her own son Dennis for calling her out on her crap, just because she was “very upset”, which apparently means she should be exempt from all criticism and anyone who does is in the wrong. Urgh, I forgot how much this annoyed me, at least she's not smug anymore after Dennis' death. Sharon would be more likeable if she took responsibility for her actions, and not being a tart would help. What do you think?
Thanks for putting this together. In my opinion this was one of the strongest eras of Emmerdale. For me the show is an empty shell of its former self and has been for about four/five years.
