I believe there is literal truth as well as the use of metaphor, analogy, parables, etc. In the context of this comment thread, we are speaking of Moses and the burning bush; I think it is in err to believe that is literally true, much the same as the belief that donkeys can speak. @@davidmoore1201 terpenes are a class of organic molecules that are mostly responsible for determining the taste/smell of things (some terpenes are skunky, some lemony, etc). They are also thought to "modulate" the high people get from smoking weed, which is why different strains with different terpene profiles can produce different effects even though the active ingredient (THC) is the same
Seriously. How can you say you're a heavy smoker and not know about terps? Myrcene is my favorite because it thins the blood brain barrier and allows your brain to accept more of the THC.

the burning bush is reffered to the dmt they are smoking, this bush like a lot of plants in the world produces dmt, so by burning bush it means smoking of the bush and the dmt is what allows for this to transcend to a “spiritual” conversation
Dan Aykroyd is an incredible human. The blues brother album still plays in my house. Hes an incredible musician and comedy genius. He really has contributed to our society via entertainment in a way like very few have done. He is the real definition of a legend.

Psychedelic’s definitely have potential to deal with mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression, I would like to try them again but it’s just so hard to source here
Psychedelics are the reason why i didn’t take my life when i was at my end. I was stripped of my ego and saw the beauty of life and interconnectivity and even though i still battle anxiety and depression, I’m doing better everyday and will never think in such a self destructive way again.
LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."
Last year, I took shrooms at Las Vegas thinking it was going to hit like an edible or something. Shit was scary at first but amazing once you start getting deeper into your thoughts

@@yprinxe I heard one time there's three different types of people. One that learns by reading. One that learns by doing, mimmic, monkey see monkey do. And one that learns by a combination of the 2. I can retain more information listening to a podcast, then I would reading a written copy of the same podcast. Oh, and terpenes are the smell. You can get good THC oil with no terpenes. Doesn't smell.
I think Joe was mostly just trying to call out his bluff without really thinking but when he realized Dan was legit he probably was too invested to retract his comments
I did DMT and it was an incredible mind blowing experience. After I eventually mellowed out. I actually felt like the entities that continually came in and out of my trip were actually just images. But they were more than simple images because they were alive and continually changing. It felt as if I was actually looking at the inner depths of my entire being. Everything in my entire being all the way down to my entire geneolegy was exposing itself in an incredible visual mind bending experience. I felt at peace with everything for months. Reality does come back.
@Danny Ruiz I've never done DMT but u have just described word for word more ir less exactly whatmy mate said about his times on it .He even swear s that while he was on his trip on the woods he saw a being made of runes .He just put it down to his trip .But he went on holidays a few years later and swears to rhia day that a woman approached him and her entire body was made up of the same runes .Now I know how crazy that sounds but I know my mate too and it's not in his character to spout Bullshit like this.So maybe I the summer I'll have a bash and see what it's like myself. I had a vision on night when I slept. I’ve done shrooms one time in the pass and I kinda started tripping when I started driving and the people I was around weren’t good for me, so I kinda was paranoid at first, kinda just went alone for awhile and just felt disconnected to the world afterwards. But a few years after, I had the vision and it was so profound. I was taken from my body, dropped into hell where I was tortured seeing celebrities and random people being tortured. I was rescued by God when Satan was turning the door to the cell I was in. I was flown out, being shown the layers of hell, sprung out pass the earth, shot straight up into heaven then eventually taken out to the universe and put into the future around 3,500AD then eventually brought back carried to earth back to my room where I saw myself sleeping. Placed back into my body as either God or I think was the arch angel flew to the sun. As I looked at them flying to the sun, the sun illuminated so bright and I opened my eyes and that’s how I woke up. So profoundly.
He may not realize it but Terrance McKenna said basically the same thing. If a UFO were to land on the white House lawn it wouldn't be even a small fraction of the spectacle of dmt.

One of my favorite facts that I don't often see reiterated is that for thousands of years Buddhists have believed that the soul is manifested 40 days after conception in the navel chakra area where then ascends up into the forehead and it just so happens upon relatively recent discovery that DMT is also manifested exactly 40 days after conception in the same area and behaves the same rising into the pineal gland like the Buddhist belief of the Soul they coincide exactly. Like the discovery of distant planets that ancient secluded tribes seem to have prior knowledge of and exact coordinates. I believe it to be soul fuel.

I have sleep apnea, one night I stopped breathing and met one of these entities, it was pure energy It could transfer information telepathically and pulled me out of my body and gave me multiple viewpoints in 3D space, I could view it from multiple angles, like I was seeing it with 100 eyes....it formed and reformed into the deceased, then flew into my chest and filled me with euphoria before sending me back. They're real, whatever they are. Maybe they're advanced caring programs inside this simulated reality. It turned me from an atheist into a believer instantly.
