You were the only one who could cheer me up on that tragic night Joel. I was crying my eyes out when I heard the news (Which was just before The finale of Masked singer UK 2020 came on) as I knew that people like me who mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, bulimia, and autism shouldn’t be ignored. And that would only be the start of the deadly chain of events we have had to go through over the course of the pandemic.

Well done Joel for opening up. You doing that on stage in front of that many people when something so close to you happens will inspire people like myself to open up. Caroline would be proud of you.

People say that we don't talk about death and dying enough, it's grief we don't talk about 💔💔💔

What happened to Caroline Flack which caused her suicide happened to a close female friend of mine, probbably the most respectable person I have ever met, who was eventually acquitted at crown court. But she went through 9 months of hell, arrested 4 times, locked up for nearly 3 days, neighbours interviewed, computers, phones confasinated, had to report to police station 3 times a week for months on end, cost her business and around 40K in lawyers. All for crimes which not only didn't happen, there was 0 evidence of. Frightening what this country has become with politically motivated prosecutions. Be warned this can happen to anyone!

What annoyed me most with her passing was people who slated her and bullied her online tried taking the moral high ground as if they actually care she had passed and were trying to clear their conscience. Her death was a tragedy and regardless of the allegations whether true or false, no one should be bullied to the point of suicide.

Good for you Joel, going in to work that night was hopefully therapeutic for you and for everyone else grieving the loss of a loved one. Watching stand up comedy kept me alive in my teens, I loved music but comedy was my escape. I'm 34 now, been diagnosed with many mental health problems and take daily medication but I have a future thanks to you comedians. Thank you for your much needed service ❤ Sending love to anyone who needs it, please stay strong ❤

This video's really timely for me. I lost one of my friends to suicide 18 days ago and I'm finding it really hard to process too. I've never lost anyone close to me before so all these feelings are new. Some days I feel everything and other days, nothing at all. I appreciate this video a lot. It's nice to know that these feelings aren't unique to me and that I'm not alone

Grief is life long, I realised this in 2018 when I lost my Dad then 6 months later my younger sister. The best thing one Can Do is grieve in a healthy way just like He is. Talking about those you havecloved Sharing memories with those around you. Being prepared to ride the wave of emotion as and when It comes because there are times when you can be triggered like hearing a song play. Rest in peace Caroline.

I didn't even know her and when I heard the news I honestly... cried. I felt a weird sense of disbelief, shock, sadness, anger, all in one. I just couldn't understand what I was hearing. One of the saddest public deaths in forever.

I will say even now it upsets me. I dont really get that upset by celebrities passing but i took het death badly. Possibly because she was only a year older than me and i was suffering at the same time with these thoughts. So it does upset me now. I think he totally did the right thing by expressing how he was feeling especially as he was at a CALM event. This is real life and this event is all about raising awareness for mental illnesses and he is showing how suicide affects people. I totally admire him for this as its such a difficult thing to do. I just wanted to give him a hug x

What a woman, I ADORED Caroline Flack! The CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) in the U.K. have & had blood on their hands! Her boyfriend Lewis Burton did not want to pursue prosecution, so what the hell were the CPS doing by continuing with a trial that was not wanted or warranted. A service that should be there to support people actually was complicit in this situation (in my opinion of course). If anyone ever feels as low as this poor woman did PLEASE speak to somebody impartial first, whoever it is, it doesn’t matter, just talk it through with somebody before even contemplating your end. I have a life-limiting degenerative condition, every day is more pain, but, every day is a gift! I have also been that low, twice, my first marriage failed, my wife decided she preferred the older man & disappeared with another bloke double her age! She fell pregnant right away and I was devastated! I hit the booze and nearly died from liver damage, I was assigned a councillor and quit the drink allowing my liver too regenerate (it was touch & go) and I now drink socially and responsibly. The second instance I went through a bad break-up, my fiancée went straight to another guys bed, again I took it bad, I knew I never wanted to be drunk again so I tried slitting my wrists & ringing an ambulance, I made a hash of my arms and after being kicked out of hospital I returned home with the aim to overdose on pills. Something made me ring The Samaritans before the pills and after a three hour talk on the phone too a complete stranger I put that phone down and started on rebuilding my life for myself and my little dog! To cut a long story short because this typing is killing me I am now re-married to a soulmate I found 200 miles away, three years this year, we are working on a baby (now that’s fun) the dog is now a senior citizen and I still have a beer every now and then! Life really IS a rollercoaster! The highs are fantastic, the lows are fewer now, but I know my time on this planet will be limited so every day is brilliant! Honestly and seriously if you are on a low please, PLEASE try The Samaritans or anyone else, talk, just talk, please, if not for me, for my angel, Caroline Flack. Thank you for reading, I hope it helps just one person, that will be the best gift you could ever give an ill man, THANK YOU X
