To start playing bball at the age of 16, get drafted top 3 in the NBA draft and still be in contention of the ROTY award while missing over 50 games really show that Embiid is a one in a million talent.
i love it, he seems like he'd know when hes fucked up but hes not afraid of saying how good he thinks he is, without being overtly arrogant. as a bucks fan i want to see him and giannis match up in the ECF thatd be so lit
@@thestanklegg58dag51 even without a jumper Giannis is better and you saw what happens every time Joel faces the Greek Freak.I am sure he has nightmares!!
@@GodInHisPrime when? what year? well this is the year that embiid finally has spacing at the 2 3, 4, screw ben simmons, he can crash the offensive glass or something or try and cut, embiid isnt sacrificing anymore.
@@10secviolation He's said it many times. He still needs to shoot em', Ben Simmons or not, because it opens up his own offensive game. Look at the play where he dunked on Westbrook. If he never shot them, Adams (and others) would never go for his pump fake, which opens up his drive.
Idk how anyone can hate on Embiid, definitely a class act and knows when to have fun w the game and always puts his all into every game. If he can get in better shape and actually eat healthy and get his stamina/endurance up he unquestionably be the most dominant big. He struggles playing consistently when he’s playing heavy minutes, but even if he doesn’t carry the offensive work load, he’s still a defensive anchor and any shot in the paint can feel his presence. Best C in the league, and 2nd best big only behind AD.
when i listen to him talk i feel super confident. I love that he says he has work to do, that he knows his weaknesses, and once Ben shoots the J, and embiid stays healthy...we gonna be alright
Soccer, Table Tennis and Tennis gave me my basketball footwork. I grew to 6´7 250lbs played TE #88 and Point Forward #13 in College and semi Pro! Played soccer 5-6hrs a day from age 5-15, Basketball at 13, Football at 15. Tennis, Golf and Water activities mostly now at an older age!!
I was at the game where he dunked on Baynes, right behind the backboard. The place was buzzing for a while after that play, Joel almost brought down the building
his shot was better then because he was thinner. He's bulked up past 2 years to help him play bully ball in the post but it hurt his shot and conditioning
6:55 “you can never disrespect an NBA player (referring to himself)” 7:29 “I see myself as a human being, not as an NBA player or whatever that is” lmao
I think it's a little early for Embiid to do a career retrospective. Kobe, Olajuwon, even Lebron at this point makes more since. Embiid will be a legend though.
Parents should really get their kids into to soccer it helps a great deal. Foot eye coordination, conditioning, improves your foot speed and footwork. It’s no wonder guys like Kobe, Hakeem and Steve Nash were so good in the post. And just general in game communication.
Jo complete human being, strategic thinker, humanitarian, and funny!! get Ben to spoon feed you high up in the low post _ keep it in the tree's, then Jo & Ben will be the most unstoppable dynamic duo in the NBA!! Can't Wait!! P.S.play under control nothing fancy like you said - no diving for the ball your way to valuable to the team, don't want to see you get hurt!! don't waste all your energy backing guys down - get the rock in the paint and put it in the hole that's it - be decisive Action is always faster then Reaction - one step ahead is all you need too POSTERIZE YOUR DEFENDERS_ dominating the low post on offensive & defensive is the key to the Sixers next level!
