If MICH can make it thru that schedule they have a real shot. Bama will be in the Alabama Invitational with that cupcake schedule again. They could sit their starters the last 2 weeks and still get let in at 9-3
Regardless of Alabama’s schedules they continue to beat the other best team in the nation in championship games. Stop pretending they aren’t the best skip.

@@danielminton3876 on top of that they won half of those games they've given up 40. Basically you have to have a pro ready qb to beat them and even then that's not always a guarantee even if that qb plays lights out. That's pretty crazy to think about.

I've always been a huge Klatt fan.... this year even more because lately he seems to go straight for Skips throat and I love it.. Skip has no credibility and is a proven miserable hater... I love me some Joel Klatt. This guy gets it. He is a student of the game. He knows all the stats. He makes educated guesses and he calls bs when he sees it... AND MAN DID HE TODAY, straight up told Skip that guts as he called it, was really just stupidity haha... it’s a shame they don’t promote this guy like skip or Collin, they say stupid or outrageous stuff and people tune like idiots. Klatt is a real pro at this and he just put Skip in his place, they are no14, Michigan doesn’t have the history, last time Harbaugh had a good QB in college was Andrew Luck and he still didn’t win it so the QB argument is out the window, he coached better in the NFL but Saban is already considered one of the best, if not, the best college football coach ever. The argument for Michigan is so stupid. I could respect him saying an underdog Michigan might creep up if they can win out or if he just think Ohio St or some other team just might get them this yr but it really is just dumb luck if you pick anybody outside of Alabama and win.
Last 3 years: Harbaugh is 28-11 with 0 National Championships and Saban is 41-3 and won 2 National Championships and has 6 total! Harbaugh is the MOST overrated coach in college football and Skip can not stop talking about how great he is and how overrated Saban is. Does this guy even watch football?
I know Michigan probably won’t win but I love how he said in the past that harbaugh is a better coach so he picked them. Also joe klatt is one of the only analysts expescially for football
Harbaughs signature win came in 2016 at home vs Wiscy 14-7, the only ranked team they beat that year. The only ranked team they beat last year was Fla wk 1, who finished their season unranked. In 2015 they beat #22 BYU who finished unranked, #13 NWestern who finished #23, and #19 Fla who finished #25. In three years these are his signature wins. The only team that he has EVER beat that would go on to finish in the top 20 is Wisconsin at home 14-7, Oct 1 2016. He is 1-2 in bowls and has now lost 4 games in a row on the cusp of the hardest schedule he'll face to date

NFL and CFB are different so can’t compare the two coaches. I agree Klatt took the easy way in prediction, wished he did a less generic prediction. Who knows...... Clemson has tougher schedule while Alabama is with easy schedule.
I want to see some new blood in there. College football starting to get very stale. It was almost better during the BCS because we had different teams in there.

Jim Harbaugh finally has a quarterback? That's nice. You know who else finally has a quarterback? Nick Saban. Jalen Hurts was already arguably the best quarterback Nick Saban had had at Alabama when he took the starting job as a true freshman and had the Tide within seconds of a national championship. And now from the looks of it, Tua Tagovailoa is even better. As usual, I'll take Alabama until proven otherwise.

I'm FAR from an Alabama fan but you gotta respect their dominance. They WILL make the playoffs and if you think they're overrated then pray one of the other playoff teams knocks them off.
1) Clemson 2) Georgia 3) Washington 4) Wisconsin Clemson beats UGA to win National Championship. I think Bama and Oklahoma just miss it, I think the conference champions take care of business this year and leave no team able to back their way into it. Bama loses to Georgia due to not having lost during the regular season and going in cocky, while the stadium is stocked with UGA fans (SEC championship is always in Mercedes Ben remember) and UGA goes in hungry. Saban May or may not retire depending on how ravenous the fan base becomes.
Skip could definitely be right but if o am unbiased michigan has too hard a schedule to make the playoffs but if we do we would be hard to beat. We will find out a lot about michigan tomorrow soce there are so many unknowns. GO BLUE!!!
He keeps bringing up the stat of "40 points 8 times since 2007", but it's worth noting that 7 of those happened while Kirby was calling the defense. Since Kirby left it has only happened 1 time in two years, and Bama didn't give up more than 26 all of last year despite losing 9 defenders for a total of 50 games throughput the season. Meanwhile...Georgia under Smart has given up 40 points 3 times, and would certainly have been 4 times had Tua played the entire game.
Skip but the problem with Michigan is as long as Harbaugh plays his ancient offense with Shea Patterson he will be destroyed. And BTW they already lost to Norte Dame

Only teams that can beat Alabama are Georgia, Ohio State & Auburn. No Clemson won't beat them cuz their offense seems to struggle with kelly bryant especially against Alabama
