"They tellin' me to calm down But bein' humble was the worst mistake I ever made.// Not knowin' my worth was the biggest price I ever paid.// So 'til I leave this Earth I'ma shine on niggas everyday"
Joey Bada$$ really is one of the most humble and laid back, down to earth dudes of today!!! Man is a beast!! Can't wait to hear some new music by Joey!!
Joey is my idol next to J. Cole. It’s crazy witnessing his evolution from him dropping his mixtape “1999” all the way to him now starring on Power Book III: Raising Kanan. I also can’t wait for new music from him🔥
Joey was a pleasure to interview. One of my favorite conversations ever. He legitimately opened my mind to surrendering to the unknown and having full faith in the universal plans for us. Looking forward to the new music
Based off of speculation, STEEZ was very frustrated & many people believe that the reason why “King Capital” (STEEZ’s Last Project) was never released was because there’s a lot of anger towards Joey & PE on Those Tracks. There’s a Snippet on RU-vid of a Track that STEEZ had lyrics saying about “Joey said that we’re gonna be living comfortable” & how he was “living Claustrophobic, one step closer 2 his fucking tomb.” They say it’s due 2 “Sample Clearance Issues” but if u think about it, why couldn’t they reproduced the beats WITHOUT any samples? P.E. Has about 6-7 Producers on their team & Joey is way bigger than he was around 2012, so they (or he can at Least) can definitely afford better production. So 👁 don’t know, but something doesn’t sound right about any of this, 2 B Honest.
The spiritual war between Good and Evil is clearer now more than ever and surrendering is not an option, Joey. Surrendering will do nothing but continue the cycle of reincarnation you want to escape from. Choose Good and you will reunite with Divinity.
Damn I was drinking water purified by reverse osmosis when he talked about it. I did some more research and I think I need to stop drinking so much of it.
His growth was impossible without CAPTIAL STEEZ. Shouldn't even be where he is rn. It's a shame people don't wake up to reality . WE WANT KING CAPTIAL!!! HIPHOP DX SCARED TO ASK THE REAL QUESTIONS 😂
@@ethancooper7679 damn you're so uneducated... they do not have FULL RIGHTS. Which is why both parties have to sign the agreement proposal. Steez sister literary came out and said that Joey is the reason for the album delay. And if you're gonna tell me joey would be where he is without steez then you're very uneducated on this topic..
Steez T.V i never said he isn’t here cos of steez, steez is one of the goats and clearly his biggest inspiration. But u fr need to realise if pro era isn’t a label anymore who holds the music? definitely not joey. The problem came because steez’ fam wanted a majority of the royalties over PE which would be the fair thing to do but the music industry is corrupt and cinematic obviously wanted more, if anything u should be bashing shipes not joey i don’t really think he has a say in this matter.
@@ethancooper7679 it was Joey and his mom that did the hostile takeover of PE.... Steelos mom just wanted what her son left her and his sister's... they were making it harder than it was.... They(the PE crew) didn't even say anything to her when he jumped... Just weirdly standing infornt of her house in unison while she cussed them out... A lot of fucked up shit that ended up getting cleaned up behind scenes... I used to follow his sister on IG... She was low-key pissed for a minute....
