Let’s have this right - he was only in Strangeways for around 3 weeks and he had it easy, proper easy. Got a gym orderly job almost immediately, got placed on the food servery straightaway, infact a perfectly good lad who had been doing the servery job for a while got the boot and Barton took over his job for no other reason than he was a ‘celebrity’. Higher management at Strangeways were told in no uncertain terms that he was to be ‘wrapped in cotton wool’. He got whatever was needed to keep him happy. As much exercise as he wants, as much time out of his cell as he wants. He was a prick in jail and he’s still a prick out of it.
According to prison guards in Strangeways, he had it very easy and was well looked after. Hardly Alcatraz mate! Did he learn the error of his ways...seems not! So why talk about something that was so easy if never changed you one bit?
