[MY BAND] Oficial Lamb of God Cover (Brazil) • Laid To Rest - Lamb of... \,,/ Joey Jordison playing the herect anthem look my profile for more joey/slipk vidz
even after hearing Eloy on the drums, Joey is still the GOD. Eloy can perfectly replicate him, but can never be him. Jay was a worthy contender, but Joey was THE man.
@@TheOneAndOnlyCumGuzzler Sorry but Eloy straight rips through the double bass sections without cutting short with fills. Joey wrote the parts but Eloy will 100% play them better
Joey takes the win for best metal drummer of my lifetime. Crazy drummer. Unbelievable stunts being performed here. He's a mad man on a mission. To destroy.
I hate being that guy so I'll just say of you are interested I can recommend some drummers who are much better than JJ. But if he's your guy and you for some reason have a connection with him and his your personal favorite drummer nothing will change your mind, he's your guy ride and die, then I get that. My personal favorite of all time is Mitch Mitchell even though Mitch isn't the fastest, he didn't have the most complex beats or fills he didn't do 15min drum solos like Bonham, he didn't write overly intricate pieces like Peart., But In spite of all that he is my dude, he just resonates with me his energy, his sound, he blended jazz and rock music perfectly where you have these moments where he could do fills that would match rhythm and be perfectly on time with the lead guitar and no matter what he would always be able to bring them both back to the song with perfect time. JMO opinion and as a drummer JJ wasn't ever really overly amazing to me, other than his stamina which is insane, he never did anything overly amazing, unlike a Danny Carrey's whose hand rhythms and down right complicated drum measures are legendary or Mike Portnoy, Chris Adler with his crazy dble bass work. Once again not trying to shame your opinion or shit on your personally just adding to the conversation, even though you didt ask for it
@@vincegedeon6583 why he indeed posses some fast sticking skills, but compared to others like Peart or Buddy Rich, it wasn't mitches speed that was impressive it was more his dynamic rhythms surrounded by the perfectly on time fills
@I Am Me Bro He didn't copy paste anything.Few drum beats can be familiar. But "copy and paste" phrase sounds very disturbing. His drum parts have contribution in being Slipknot famous. Personally He and Chris Adler are my favourite drummers. Bro Metal is not about debate.Try to respect every musician in this genre.
This was definitely them at their absolute darkest and heaviest. I haven't been a Slipknot fan for some time, but I am grateful for "Iowa" and their self titled getting me into heavier music as a young kid. Even though I moved on and stopped listening to them, I never lost respect for Joey. He was an awesome drummer and seemed to be a good person in general . RIP
He was destroying his voice and wasn't using the right technique for his screams. He was literally yelling and adding distortion to his voice! Seemed to work out good for him though lol
Corey still sounds good. People act like he sounds like utter shit when that's not the case. Does he still sound like this, no. But it doesn't sound bad at all.
This is why Joey was Slipknot, in the early 2000s it was hard not to see Joey Jordison in magazine photo shoots. He was a phenomenal drummer who stood out from everyone. RIP Joey & Paul.
Congrats Corey, you have all the spotlight now....Joey made your band and you just couldn't take that. Don't get me wrong, you're one of the best front man of all time...but Joey is the greatest drummer of all time (not debatable)
What always impressed and blew my mind even more was the fact they play their songs alot faster than the records. Joey was the GOAT and still is IMO. The way he plays the kit in this is just effortless. Incredible!
One difference I spot between Jay and Joey, is that Joey plays with ease and was more about articulation. While Jay likes to be loud and kind of struggles with the Joey fills. Not hating, love both of them, but ya know.
humble as he was he'd probably never believe it, but joey was the heart and soul of slipknot and imo the best player in a band that abandoned him at a difficult time in his life. tbh i am not even a big fan of this band but i am of joey, so this may be biased. he was just one of a kind.
Joey amava o que fazia o cara manjava na batera nao importava tamanho da bateria isso nao empatava..ele era unico baixinho da banda mesmo cara era foda tocava com toda furia que tinha descansa joey
That's what I hear form corey sometimes lol xD like in spit it out he sounds like. "if you never gave a damn in the first place maybe it's time....MAN NEARLY KILLED ME. AJDGEF FEHUIAFGIAFI UIGF A DA. SPIIIT. III. OW." lol
Mitch P People can talk you don't know the real Truth! All say that is Because of his legs Because he was sic, but i think it was Because of Cocain (Joey had a Addiction ) and maybe because Ego and Stuff like that...Joey was the ,,Boss" he pushed Slipknot all the way and do some desicions before the Rest of the Band has known....
Just came here after seeing Eloy's. He's great and all, but Joey's version gives me goosebumps, for whatever reason. Shit feels like grooving lightning from Joey.
JOEY JORDISON : THE THUNDERING SPEED OF LIGHT TOMAS HAAKE: THE DOUBLE PEDAL TO THE MEDAL GOD CHRIS ADLER : THE POWER SOURCE OF THE DRUMS WHAT'S YOUR TOP 3 DRUMMERS OF METAL
- *The Rev* I’m not going to lie, I love avenged sevenfold. They got me into metal in the first place but obviously I have more better bands like Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Iron Maiden and many more, but! The Rev was amazing at drums, so energetic, melodic style of drumming. AAND he used to sing while drumming! Who the hell does that? - *Joey Jordison* well.... this dude is an absolute beast. Extremely fast patterns and amazing drum track writer! I don’t think anyone is better and more cleaner than this dude.. we’ll not that I’ve heard of anyways. - *Mike Portnoy* I think this is very self explanatory. Personal Opinion tho :)
