@@dragonMaster24921 Nah, it's a fun deck to play and really strong, just needs a bit more care. The only thing that extremly sucks is Dragoon. It's a shame of a card and yet another Epic Fail of good old Konami.

In the actual game the opponent can't have monsters on the field in order to activate RB's effect so no he couldn't have

Originally he could, but in recent reprintings they changed rampart blasters effect so that it only works if your opponent has no monsters. Needlessly ruining the card that already didn’t have much viability to be honest

I checked it out, and they only added an extra line that inclines a regular old direct attack.... what's the point of attacking with a defence position monster with this kinda effect when you can just use an attack position one with twice the power... they really didn't think that move though... did they...?

I’d give Chazz and the other Obelisk’s a week before they start protesting the quarantine, masks, and social distancing everyone has to do. Meanwhile Jaden would try camping in the woods and wait for this whole thing to blow over. But he only brought enough supplies for a week and gets lost for a month. Everyone else just duels since classes are over and there’s fuck all else to do. Unless someone brought a knife then there’s five-finger-filet sometimes.

Can´t. That´s in the anime/OCG. When the card got printed in the TCG, it could only attack directly in DEF position if your opponent controls no monsters. Yeah, I know. Really dumb. They stripped Rampart Blaster of its signature quirk and left it as a 3rd rate Fusion monster. Maybe the Western branch thought being able to attack directly while being in defense was so broken it was going to break the game. Spoilers: it did not.

@@jatabo1574 That's strange, because in the Legacy of the Duelist video game, Rampart Blaster can attack directly even when there are monsters on the opponent's field. At least it used to, I don't know if it's been changed or not.

Well, in the anime Joey has the Claw of Hermos wich he could have use to kick his ass early game.

They unfortunately fixed the card to not let it do that anymore, can still attack with half of her attack points but only when there are no monsters on your opponent’s side of the field

She can't attack from defense if the opponent has monsters.

You can't attack if you go first. The guy who goes second (in this case Jonouchi/Joey) can attack on his first turn, tho
