Come along for Days 105 to 108 of our End-to-End hike across the UK where we left the hard, steep sections behind and had some easier days on the South West Coast Path with more level walking.
We hiked on the Camel Trail and along the beautiful Seven Bays to Newquay which is one of my favorite parts on the Coast Path: Turquoise water, cute little bays and sandy beaches - what's not to love? :)
Route:
Port Isaac-Dinham Farm (14.4mi/23,1km)
Dinham Farm-Padstow (8.8mi/14,2km)
Padstow-Treyarnon (13.6mi/21,9km)
Treyarnon-Newquay (13.9mi/22,3km)
My dream is to make a living out of my passion for being outdoors, hiking and creating videos that brighten your day! If you enjoy the videos and want to support our next adventures with a treat for Otto and a coffee for me:

Again, another great, professional episode Elli. More stunning scenery with better weather this time, less rocky shoreline & hilly bits, more blue seas and almost clean beaches. Thank you (& Otto) for sharing them & for cleaning up after the litterbugs. Leave no trace is not just for wild campers! I’ve hiked a few short sections of the Paths you’ve covered in these videos, but didn’t realise how many & how varied the National pathways we have here in the Britain. There’s a lot crammed into this Island. Thank you for introducing (& reminding us) how lucky we are to have them.

Thank you so so much for the feedback, the kind words and your encouragement :) It's really sad to see when people just throw away their rubbish when there's a bin literally 150m behind them when they leave the beach... Re the paths and trails: That's so true and one of the main reasons I love hiking in the UK, there's so much variation and a great hiking community. That's so special and I love all the beautiful places from coastline to moors to mountains 😍

have to say you’re becoming a professional at making videos now, congrats on completing 1500 miles on your trip, apart from the beautiful views the nigh like for me was seeing Otto eating that ice cream, as always looking forward to your next adventure. 😊

That's so kind - thank you so so much :) Whenever I found a cafe where they had dog icecream, Otto got one - he loved it :)

Love how you know all the bays 🌅 You've become an expert on one of the most beautiful parts of the UK. It's a classic UK tourist destination and with a large number of rich people's second homes there, coupled with the fact that not enough homes have been built in the last 60 years, creates big social tension. Re the litter - there's a lot of anti-social scum in the UK Love your no ferries rule 👍 You timed things well with the weather +16:09 shot! 😊

Awww, thank you so much :) Hahaha, yes - but that's so easy as there are soooo many beautiful areas. Hiking really is a great way to explore a country - you see so much :) Not taking the ferry from Rock to Padstow was really hard 😂 But I was happy that I at least didn't walk the south coast of Cornwall and Devon this time. Not taking a ferry there with all the river crossings would have been a completely different story :)

Such stunning landscape ! It is always a treat to watch your videos. Last year I walked from St.Ives to Penzance so I’m looking forward to your thoughts about this stretch of the path. Take care💜

It really is so beautiful and there's so much variation on the coast path. Steep cliffs, sandy beaches and the rough remote atlantic around Lands End with all the beautiful coves. I love St Ives to Penzance, these were the last days of our hike :) Thank you so much for watching our videos and following along, that means a lot :)

Hi Elli and Otto I almost missed this video it never popped up on my RU-vid list. Anyway another great video and as always some beautiful views. So funny when you went for a swim and Otto just sat there as if to say no thanks I'm fine . I couldn't agree more with you it's such a shame the way people just dump their rubbish whilst out in the country or on the coast. They probably turn up and say wow this is beautiful here and then when they leave they just drop their trash. Makes me so angry. Take care 😋✌️

Thank you so much for following our adventure and always leaving kind words :) hahaha, yes Otto doesn't like water and would never go in. But he always sits as close to the water as possible to watch me which is so cute :) Re the rubbish: It really is impossible to understand how some people can't be bothered to take their trash to the bin that's 100m behind them 🙄

Well done, Elli. Really enjoying your videos. You seem to be having (mostly) such a good time. I think all the UK tourist boards whose areas you pass through should be sponsoring you!

@ellihikes it looks better in your video than I remember it. I had to detour lots as so much wasn't suitable for two wheels. You've inspired me to walk some of it. I couldn't do what you've done though. Maybe I could do a few days when the weather's nice.
