Thank for this VIVALDI 580 , transcribed by Bach 🎉🎉🎉 But OF COURSE !!! the Original is THE REAL THING 😮😮 Please go listen , you'll find also a Rendition with 17 millions views .
If this is being played in A-flat minor, then why is the key signature in C/A-minor? I'd appreciate some input out there because I just did a Bach Re-mix of this piece, fusing it with The Pet Shop Boys "It's A Sin," which resolves to a C-minor, but off of (Bach's) A-flat minor.
"...but actually improves on the original work." This depends on the viewpoint. If you prefer thicker textures, this is indeed better. Vivaldi's original work is more striking because of the simpler structure, the points come across more forcefully and directly. Bach dilutes these with the thickened Germanic textures. To me I think if Bach cut the thickening of this by 50%, it would be improved but without the heaviness.
