Usually I'd agree 100%...I've been a fan of them for like 43 years. But John 5 is amazing and does FULL JUSTICE to all Mick Mars parts...he's just too damn good!!! So I'm actually super excited to see the new version of The Crüe but still very sad at how the whole Mick Mars situation went down.
What a phenomenal guitarist, I haven’t seen him live with crue but seen enough videos and I appreciate how he shows respect to Mick by playing his parts for the most part just like the records. Much respect to John.
It’s a whole new experience hearing Mick’s riffs without Vince Neil’s sloppy live vocals on top of it. Mick is a great and very original but underrated guitar player. But John 5 plays Motley the way it should be played - with respect for the originals and Mick’s playing.
Mick Mars was so underrated and clearly under appreciated by his former band. I would argue without his guitar riffs and tone - Motley Crue would not be who they r today
The way that John makes everything look so effortless is scary lol, it’s insane the way this guy looks like he’s using zero effort to do any of this 😂, such an underrated guitar player in rock music. He’s a beast
John 5 is amazing......and his respect for Mars is evident....listening to these riffs, almost mostly the same, sounds like a fresh take. Mad respect to both John and Mick. I saw this same show at the Arcada theater in St. Charles IL, mind blowing show.....as most John 5 shows are.
I really hope that Mick Mars is flattered on how big of a fan that John 5 is and what an honor it is to have such a talented guitar player dedicated to replicating his songs!
@@yeahsure9759 Yes he does play live he always has. He loves being on stage and playing for fans. I've known him over 30 years and he's played live on every tour and every show. Its silly that some think otherwise. They have no idea what they're talking about. Sad.
@@JeremyWest0405 In my humble opinion they WERE legendary until they began not playing their instruments.. backing tracks i dont really care many do it, but to not play a note? thats Fraud, and Vince is DONE.. yet he continues to accept the fans money.. Id like to think I wouldnt but thats a tough one, but then Id be a hack too.
@@wcreview8227 They use backing tracks for backing vocals and keyboard parts mostly, they are actually playing their instruments on stage. If Vince wasn't actually singing live, why would he sound so bad?
@@FrozenByFire No youre right i wasnt saying Vince wasnt singing , thats clear as its humiliating, no I said or at least I meant that Nikki and even Tommy were not even playing their instruments... Mick Mars said that Nikki did not Play ONE NOTE... Thats what I was referrinng to..
@@wcreview8227 That's what Mick Mars SAYS, but he's trying to defame them and sue them, so it's not like he's trustworthy on this. The only "proof" people have of Tommy not playing, is there is a high hat count in on a song live that he wasn't playing, but that is most likely just part of the backing track. Do you really think Tommy Lee would go on stage and not even play his drums? Come on. And Nikki's bass lines are super simple, as if he can't play that live.
Saw John 5 w Zombie... his solo was just stupid good. I recorded it. I still watch it. I'm still mesmerized by it. SOOOO many "Goat's" out there but John has to be king GOAT.
