Nice to hear LIVE jazz at a venue for a change from recording studio products. John Allred is another awesome trombonist among so many today. Since J.J. Johnson's death many have appeared to carry the trombone to new heights IMO.
Definitely one of the most killer bone (and tuba!!!) players on the globe, that deserves far more recognition....great guy, as well....and let's not forget his dad, Bill!
