I saw these on Instagram and was so impressed at how well you use reds! I'm very thankful for this video tutorial! One thing I wanted to ask was: are the cherub wings painted with acrylics or was that oil paint?

Is it ok to airbrush this cadmium red? All cadmium colors I got strongly discourage airbrushing of it since cadmium is toxic.

I didn't find any disturbing information in product datasheet and airbrush thinner medium is recommended to use with these paints so I guess nothing diffrent than using other acrylic paints.

@@maybug_games That's reassuring. I use cadmium base paint from the heavy body acrylics range of Golden Acrylics and there is a warning on the tubes that advise not to t vaporize this paint. That's a shame bescause I realy love cadmium red and not being able to airbrush it is frustrating. But if the range you're using is safe to airbrush I'm gonna look into it 👍

@@Moxiltws isn't vaporize process diffrent from airbrushing? IE vaporize process is a heating up paint to high temperature? I ll try to make more detail search about this one

I checked it in details and You are correct, we shouldn't aibrush cadmum based paint, so we gonna stop using it. Thank You!
