@@kiro253 we will see. I am a big fan of both so I would love to see Devon make it a good match. I just know that Denis ceiling for peak strength is higher than Devon’s
hahah people are over analyzing this match, Denis is waaaaay stronger than Devon and is going to make it look easy. A rusty John was able to move Devon of center and almost pinned him in the first, while Denis was going easy and still easily pinned John, John wasn't even close of moving Denis.
To be fair Devon was just coming off a boxing match with Thor and he had only five weeks to train. Devon right now is definitely stronger, guys like Hutchings and John who used to take him almost to the pad in intial surges now can't even budge him however Dennis is still favourite in my eyes 😂 unless Devon dominates Genadi.
Exactly , you can Definitely tell that Denis was only saving his energy if he had to go full force . Denis 6-0 , I can't remember the last time John was right about anything
But he's trying hard enough to pin John just exhausted, but for Devon King move, he's definitely able to take down Dennis, and Dennis isn't ready to face Devon any time soon.
I don't know what John's talking about, John was able to move Devon off center and had a chance to pin Devon in round 1 if he decided to press. He couldn't even move Denis a inch! Denis seems stronger than Devon....
@@jegr3398 yeah but even professional arm wrestlers like John aren’t always accurate on who’s gonna win. Just like everyone thought that Dave Chafee was going to beat ermes but that didn’t happen so arm wrestlers opinions don’t really matter.
That devon john face was devon 1,5 month after boxing thor. The strength devon gain after the preap for levan is still There. And probably even stronger now. Thats the diffrent. John today would not move devon from center. It would look in the same way when devon face sandris.
You people that think denis is weak and wont blast devons arm off with side and back pressure your crazy the dude caught zuar yes he may of been fatigued but that zuar is 300+ pounds and held him denis is a super human even after his illness you will be shocked how strong he is and his right hand strength is he can roll anyone he wants
A lot will depend on Devon's match with Genadi, if he wins and more importantly HOW he wins, is it close or is it a dominant performance. If he dominates Genadi then yeah he has a chance. actually for once i agree with MMT's analysis, Denis performance against John was super impressive no doubt. That control was awesome. Also remember Denis doesn't get affected by Devon's mind games or setup tricks at the table as we saw last time, he just smiles it off and is patient, he's mentally very solid and is very ice cold. Genadi does get affected like Levan was but Levan channelized his anger in an affective way, will Genadi be able to do the same or will he be unable to subdue his emotions from his mind? Time will tell.
@@efimkrivov Not a language barrier, Denis is just very mentally robust and as he said very ice cold, he just don't give a shit. The rest do get affected to some extent
Let’s not forget the old match was left after surgery. Right hand might have been different but Devon is the kind of guy who gives his competitors all the respect in the world.. After the match lol
This is the legendary battle I believe in October denis sweeps devon like you said devon won't be able to pronate through denis.Devons pronator muscle will meet a pronator muscle not as developed as devon but stronger Ultimately the true hulk denis cyplenkov will defeat devon larrat once and for all and shut all the doubters from 2008 to present and Ultimately challenge levan saginashvili and dethrone him. This could be a great movie
Devon is my Guy, but Denis is scary. I would have liked to see Denis pull a few more times before Devon. At the moment, based on what we know, it looks like 55-45 in favor of Devon.
How funny to hear all this speculation around Dennis😂 Dennis don't need your opinion. He is grandmasters of arm wrestling. He knows how to prepare, what and when to do. If he will get close at 90-95% of his last peak Devon will have no chance. Full stop
John still after experiencing the after shocks of his match with Denis. Just watched his Live with Engin and the only prediction that made sense from him was Ongarbaev v Irakli. Engin almost lost it again in his Live i thought when reading the chat and he went after one idiot in the comments I thought not again man! Dont do it luckily he stopped and didn't take it far, but he still got pissed.
Devon vs Genadi will be a big tell on how strong Devon actually is, which will be a biggggg factor bcuz Levan was just so much stronger overall than Devon was that Devs tech didn't work, Denis is definitely stronger than Dev but is he within Devs range enough for him to try to bleed Denis....but his mistake will be that Denis is just going to bleed him instead...
The question is if Denis was doing his hardest looks like he was much more nicer to John than Devon did and Denis didn't even had any facial expressions like it was easy match for him.
If you think Denis wont come in WAY stronger, you are out of your mind.. Denis is still recovering and getting back to his peak condition. John was never Beating Denis even at 50%. Denis did not need to go super hard in training to beat John.. On the other hand, Denis will 100% come in as strong as possible to face a massively different style which is Devon. Devon isnt stronger now than in 2018. But this is right arm, which is actually Denis' weaker arm compared to his old left.
It's not accurate, that Devon wouldn't call out Denis if he didn't know he can beat Denis. He challenged Denis back in time. He challenged Levan. And in both of these matches he were torn out. But other things are very believable. Devon is known for his endurance and can outlast anyone
if devons training works he will have the power to stop denis and then wear him down w superior technique. all comes down to devon getting the raw hp... and it looks like he has it imo
Peak for peak this isn't a discussion although Dennis pee would have melted a cup back then. Dennis will clearly win the centre ground, its just if his horsepower advantage is enough to break that Wall Devon achieves with his lock and kings move. As it stands Id favour Devon marginally however Dennis is smart and knows this, I think within 8 months he will approach 80-90% of his former strength which is just too much genetically for Devon as was shown with Levan.
Denis will be considerably stronger than Devon, and it probably won't get to the point where Devon can do anything...it's going to go like the last match, 6-0 Denis.
They are even currently so the result will depend on the amount of pancake they will have used by their match. Denis might turn up at 320 pounds again for a last hurray.
Devon is done... He wont get the title again... Denis will beat devon but he wont beat levan... Devon should change career... He should go as next man of steel in the movies...
I hate that everyone keeps talking about Devon x Denis 2018 match as if it was a rh match. when arms are switched it's just a completely different story, people act like Dennis destroyed him in a rh match when it was only in a lh
@@calebwilliams7447 but still bro 140kg is pretty far fetched i think its possible but he has to work alot for that and we have to remember his age as well at this point in time
Bull shit! Larratt has nothing to beat Denis. I think Denis will destroy Devon the same way as he did it with John. We will see. Anyway that is gonna be epic
Hahahahahah omg i always laugh when i read or listen your comments...u guys in west get realy ku-ku...Denis is f strong and currently is stronger than anyone in USA,Canada basically whole west besides that Zaur and Levan will probably beat him but it would be tough...so 1.Zaur 2.Levan 3.Denis... ... 25.All your western girls ....now crying...bye
Evidence that Dennis is stronger than Devon Watch the Brzinc match against Devon and Brzinc against Dennis Note that Dennis was able to stop Brzinc in the first round, but Devon suffered a lot against Brzinc in the first round
We should not forget that Denis has great endurance, too. Only a handful of armwrestlers can keep up with Devon's stamina, and Denis certainly is one of them. So he just needs to have a little more side pressure than Devon to beat him in a long battle of endurance.
We dont need to forget anything just look to history. The only time Devon loses is when people blow him away with pure strength (Dennis included). Trying to out endurance Devon is a fools errand.
Guys there are 6 months left , and what John felt is his current shape and what Devon is goona face is his very close to peak shape he is monster 💀 Devon has no chance note it..💀💪
I think it depends on how well Devon does against Genadi. If he beats him the same way he did with Prudinik and Sandris then Dennis won't win but if it's a war then I would go as far as saying 70-30 in favour of Dennis. Dennis is something else man, hell I don't see anyone aside from Levan and maybe Ermes beating him after 8 months.
Bruh, did you watch the fight between john vs devon and john vs denis? Both devon and denis fought john but you can really see the difference on how they both beat john.
Let’s just get the Genadi match over with first gents holy smokes!!! Nothing like jumping the gun for views lol but I totally get it. That algorithm is constantly calling
North Americans and English have a tendency to speak big words before a competition to probably promote a fight, however, it is quite clear that Europeans and Russians are polite and prove their metal on the competition table.
I respect john but should we listen to him or the man himself devon larrat when he feel denis hand in November he said he is no.2 and is the only one who can beat levan.I mean larrat himself is not confident and thinks denis is at a level oof...
@@roguelites5225 I just dont understand why these matches have to be so spread out. Why cant these guys arm wrestle every month or 2 at most?.....Devon does all night table time every day with hundreds of guys but we have to wait 6 months to see great matches between the best guys?... i dont get it....
@@natcalabrese I feel the same way but at the same time I kind of get it the extra time accounts for injury’s from the super match that could prevent you from armwrestling your best in your next match
@@kev7240 true but Devon’s most recent match wasn’t against Levan it was against Evgeny prudnyk for their weight classes championship match and he won it
