Hahahahhahahahhahaha dude calm the fuck down holy shit, i said kind of, but watch the replay, first off Kentucky never should have been playing that backed off, they need to pressure a little bit more than just one guy, then for him to drive in and kick it out while falling down, that was kinda lucky and was blown D by Kentucky, thirdly hitting a heavily contested 3 at the buzzer is not a high percentage shot. I am not a Kentucky fan by any means, but damn dude know you're basketball before you
start just sayin shit. Also I respect Crean as a coach, but he didn't draw anything up on there, it was basically dribble down and get someone open for 3. There were no picks or anything, it was good awareness by the player to drive and kick, it was nothing he did, it was what the players did on that last shot.
except he begged indiana to play on a NEUTRAL court the year indiana was scheduled to play at rupp lol. Cal would have had home court advantage in the hardest arena in the country for an away team to win in. if he was scared then why would he want to play on a neutral sight? think before you speak please.
Jealous? Of Hickville USA? Calipari is a joke he cant coach but he can pay people to do it for him while he gets credit. Just wait to once you guys get caught you guys will be stripped of your title.
jus countin down the years bcuz in a year or so kentucky gonna b on probation ery team calipari touches ends up in trouble umass, derrick rose in memphis oh and btw he couldnt coach for shit in the nba
its cals fault they didnt win in 2008...he didnt coach his team to hit fts....especially his star in rose....when everyone told them too..thats what cost them in the end...they missed 4 fts in the final 15 seconds lol...its a choke...also bad defense on the last play by cal....he didnt call for them to pressure the ball handler up the court... it wasnt like mario hit a half court 3 ....he hit a perfectly executed play...fts missed is coaching....it was their only weakness...all year
Rupp is a tough place to win. This year's IU team (ranked #1) is much...much better than last year's squad and much deeper, while UK lost a ton. Your comments about "luck' and "refs" are silly. Hitting a three from a favorite spot off of a perfectly executed play is hardly "amazing luck" and the refs were actually pretty balanced. The "brow" did have a couple early calls you homers did not like, but the replay backed them up and frankly he could have been called for several more later.
@jRent2011 The really sad part about that is Cal had nothing to do with those scandals either. He just happened to be the head coach at the time. The NCAA never even investigated him. They act like the only schools that have had wins vacated are UMass and Memphis. I personally think Duke should have had wins taken away the year Corey Maggette played but the NCAA always turns a blind eye to any violations involving Duke players.
And why should they really. I think that it shows more about a team when they can win on the road, granted Indiana won by kind of a lucky shot I still think that complaining about a team not playing on a neutral court is bullshit. Only time it happens is in the tournament and there the best are gonna shine anyways, but to me you should prove it by playing on the other teams home court and not care about where you play.
Well, considering the game would've been played in Rupp this year and the fact that we have won 51 straight there, it might be good to also look at a little history. I can't see how you can say IU would be a "heavy favorite" by any stretch of the imagination. The only reason you beat us last year was some amazing luck and some hometown refs. I hope you recall what happened on a neutral court
Shawn Gibbons Kentucky for what to win nat’l championships and be the BEST basketball program ever, he came after the teams had cheated and the years he came they had been placed on probation. He hasn’t gotten in trouble at Kentucky and never will.
@slabnab You can lie to yourself Kentucky fan, but you can't lie to me. Calipari was never exonerated from wrong doing, he just wasn't sanctioned. There's a difference. And you're just kidding yourself if you don't think Calipari's not a shady dealer.
@FavreianVengeance The NCAA said it themselves that Calipari was not at fault for what happened at UMass and Memphis. Get your facts straight before you attempt to hate. That rhymed.
I seriously think some of the UK fans might blow Calipari right now after the debacle of Billy Clyde. Let's see how you feel about him 10 years from now. I can't wait lol
He said jagoff. HAHAHA!!! The analyst looks like a fuckin jagoff, but Cal gets butt hurt (as anyone would) when he gets pwned by a jagoff. He was pretty quick to jump on that comment as if it was meant to be a dig at him. Someone's still a little sensitive about that game. Here's a tip, Cal. If you teach your players to shoot freethrows, you would have won that damn game. Not that it would have mattered, now, seeing as it would have been vacated anyway.
the only reason u guys proposed the neutral court idea is cause u didnt want your home winning streak to end the following year when iu would go to lexington
@@donarthiazi2443kentucky wasn't getting the type of players Calipari was getting at Kentucky when Gillespie was there Prestige means nothing if the coach isn't likeable
Not in the least. IU would be a heavy favorite this year and a moderate favorite next assuming Zell is gone. As with the others, I would suggest you try to keep current.
Indiana came back and met that offer with a new deal and even offered to pay UK's schedule change costs. Cal and that spineless AD Barnhart ran away again. Bottom line: UK was likely going to lose the next couple at least plus suffer the embarrassment of the national media's "good vs evil" and "student athletes vs mercenaries" comparisons the week of each game. Then of course should UK win one of them: the resulting violence, riots, fires, gunfire in Lexingpit after the game. Try to keep up.
He should be banned because a player cheated on the SAT without Cal knowing about it, got cleared by the NCAA anyway, and then they changed their minds after the season and crashed down hard on him? I'm not really following your logic.
Should have said Indiana, Pennsylvania (where their wikipedia page claims Mr. Buccigross). Calipari would have gotten flustered because it's in the boonies (I'm from that area - I'd know)....
I agree about our losses but we also gain some talent (Harrow vs. Teague) I don't think that was luck and honestly think you deserved the win based on that shot. I do think that how crazy well you shot in the first half had something to do with luck. I thought it was a very poorly officiated game, but thats not IU's fault. All I'm trying to say is that we are easily a top 10 team playing IU at home. I just don't think heavy favorite really accurately represents what you would be in that game.
