The magic number for the rebuilding PAC 6 is 8. It doesn’t have to be pretty. Nor should the PAC feel the pressure of feeling they need to send an invite to a Georgia, Bama, or Ohio State. Just get a reasonably good 8 invite to Air Force, UNLV, Tulane, or Memphis. Once you get to full NCAA conference status with 8 pretty good teams, the PAC 8 can then start targeting P5 Cal, Stanford, UCLA, or former PAC 12 members to return home.

Husky alum here … Cougs came to play. Played at the right emotional level the whole game. -> The story for me as Fisch has put this team together on the fly is actually how talented it is. It was really execution that decided this as the avalanche of self-inflicted penalties and a couple play calls that just got too cute doomed my Dawgs.

Let’s be honest about Dickert “coming back”…. Had he not lost 6 in a row last year before smearing Colorado, he’s gone. HE was rumored for the Michigan State job well before Jonathan Smith was. Going from 4-0 to 4-4, or 4-6.. was the end of his job offers. If they win double digit games this season, Wisconsin will hire him with a truckload of money.
