John's flexibility is so fuckin' crazy. Also props to sheamus. He's prolly lifting for 15+ years but still he's trying to learn something new and the fact that he put this out in public where he's struggling to do these stretches is very commendable.
john is like the perfect fitness trainer. describes exactly what to do, what it will do for you, and how to break your pain threshold. and hes so calm while he does it. this is my favorite video out of the whole series
Hey Sheamus, doubt you'll see this, but I just wanted to thank you for this series. I'm a very overweight man, and working out was always extremely intimidating to me. After watching this series for a while, I've been trying to work out every day, using these videos as a sort of motivation, a little bit of a guide. I've been losing weight, and I just want to say thanks.
I literally come to this video everyday, that stretching has helped me a lot on leg day. I can go down easily in squats and the body feels great. Totally do it, guys.
The way John calmly guided Sheamus through this, and was so encouraging, was great. He explained everything in a very articulate and compassionate manner "It's ok, just go as far as you can, and hold it" His tone of voice was borderline relaxing and Sheamus probably would have had a harder time with this routine if it was done with somebody else.

Man sheamus, you have been part of my life since I'm 8 years old, I'm now almost 20 its been good to still see you full time on TV when so many left Hope you'll stay there for at least a few years and have one more world championship run!
You should check a video of Hakuho, a Yokozuna and considered one of the best of all time. In that video, you can see him showing his insane flexibility.
This is way more valuable than Yoga and thousands of other "stretching" videos on RU-vid. I love how supportive John is. "It's not about how far you can go, it's about what you're comfortable with." Move slowly, he says. Once you feel the pain is when you relax, he says. You aren't going to get hurt, it's your body's way of defending itself, he says. REALLY helpful to hear when you're stretching with them.
All jokes aside, John Cena was actually really good at coaching Sheamus through each stretching exercise. He was very patient and gave clear instructions through it all.
Its amazing how much John actually knows about the anatomy of the body and all the muscle groups and bones , really explains why he lasted so long and is still in great shape. He stretched muscles I’m sure we didn’t know existed I’m trying these out
Honestly, i never thought a stretching video would be interesting. How articulate John is and how willing to try new things Sheamus is makes this video such a banger. (Pun not intended)
I remember how Sheamus won WWE Championship (his first WWE Title) after defeating John Cena in a table's match at TLC. It's been an incredible journey sheamus! Keep going!!!
Look at Brock Lesnar many many years ago. He injured himself pretty badly in the process of doing a high flying move but he was still flexible enough to do it back then. Probably not now though 😅
I'm in medical school, currently in second year, learning about all the anatomy of the Musculoskeletal past month, watching this motivates me to work out, but also reminds me I need to get back to studying. Unique workout! Keep it up Sheamus and The Prototype.
I love how Cena looks like he would just snap you in half like a toothpick for looking at him wrong, but is almost like a father figure with his kindness. Sheamus keeps getting tired and Cenas just kinda like "come on buddy" lol
John cena is seriously an underrated human beyond his accolades. His mindset and outlook really opened up a few key struggles in my own confidence and confusion of how to progress myself and get out of a rut instead of just going through the motions.
At the beginning of the video, I laughed when John said he took an hour break for emotional purge to just cry in a dimly lit room alone, but then I watched him basically torture poor Sheamus for 40 minutes and now I realise he wasn't joking.
Okay, just to get this straight: John Cena isn't just one of the best wrestlers on this planet, a great action actor AND awesomly sarcastic comedian - but also a veritable personal coach? Get outta here! There must be multiple John Cenas, that can't be just one person's talents!
@@chinkans Wwe wrestlers must be very flexible to dont injure itself. I think they made 1 more houre at day of streching and mobility exercise. They are stuntman in the end
It amazes me the knowledge of both of these guys in these workouts, there's so much to learn. I love the determination that Sheamus possesses and how crazy flexible Cena is, just wow.
i’ve been binging this channel trying to get myself back in shape, it’s amazing to see a superstar like yourself still humble, still willing to put in the work. Your current run has given me so much more respect for you fellla. You’ll go down in history
Cena's a pro in every sense. Consistently impressed by him. Also love that this video isnt about the usual stuff we always see in workout vids, no benching, dead lifts, curls etc But focusing on the importance of proper stretching and flexibility. No point being jacked af if you cant move properly, makes total sense
Out here breaking the buff=stiff stigma🐐🐐. Most people just fine wit mastering body building. But stretching means longevity. This is so dope. Every body builder needs a workout wit John.
I have a feeling that after this workout you felt like made of noodles, also it's interesting to see how JC works out, he's elastic as hell, hard to believe he's 40.
