Cleese's comments near 7:45 show he's always been on guard against the sterilization of comedy by political correctness. Little wonder, really, considering his background in the British satire boom of the 1960s that opened up whole new avenues of subjects for comedians to parody and satirize by rejecting the absurd premise of their being a boundary line in comedy..... the complete antithesis of today's cancel culture climate!
