Are you kidding me listen to the vocals he sounds as good today as he did in the scream top 3 best singers i can't think of anyone that can still sing after all these years like this very impressive.
Shit man, I see all those bald heads in the audience and reminds me that we were all 17 and smashing elbows in the front rows of those great shows in the 80s and 90s. Fuck I miss being young and having hair.
How is it a motley crue "cover"? I mean I supposed technically you could say home sweet home could be considered a cover, but driftaway was written (and performed, at least in studio) mostly by Corabi, and he surely has one quarter ownership of it at least. Anyway, this is fucking great. Love Corabi as a singer, songwriter and frontman. Such a shame motley sold their soul and re-hired Vince (when none of them actually wanted to, they just wanted the easy money), when they could have gone on to be a more respected band as musicians rather than just a fun rock n roll band from the 80's.
Yeah? That worked out great for Skid Row, right? Don’t get me wrong, John Corabi smokes Vince as a performer (at least the Big Mac $1.03 version of Vince - on the tours I saw in the 80s, he was still great) but fans didn’t become fans with Corabi at the helm. They wanted Vince. Too many of them had no idea they were lining up for the guy that ate Vince Neil until they were already at the venue. I don’t think it was so much the other guys who screwed their fans as it was Vince who couldn’t be bothered to skip a meal or two, train his voice, and you know… actually rehearse before the tour.
@@codacreator6162 I would agree Vince has the most to blame, particularly the last 20 years, where he's just turned into a big fat bloated joke who can barely garble his way through the songs. But I see what you're saying about Corabi. But some bands have succeeded after replacing the frontman. Not many, and usually they aren't as big as they were, but it can be done. And that Corabi album is far far better than anything they have put out since. A couple of the songs on generation swine were good, but that's only because they were written with Corabi. Vince singing them is what made them sub-par, to be honest. Because they weren't written for his voice. Now the reason I say the band (and Vince) sold out, is because none of them wanted to reform. The rest of the band didn't want Vince back at all, Vince didn't really want to come back, but they did it because of label pressure and of course the money
Awesome John! Nobody gets it. MOTLEY CRUE. With you was awesome! I think it would’ve taken off if you guys would’ve changed the name a little. The fans love Vince. Nikki wouldn’t change. He has copywrite to Motley Crue. I love that MOTLEY CRUE album.
I totally agree. I was thinking exactly the same thing. The name should be different. I love that album. I listen to it in my car quite often. I am looking for the same kind of music. Similar bands. Similar sounds.
The Motley Crue record with him totally rips. It's a shame how it's been somewhat buried. They got Vince back and put out nothing really interesting again. Vince had an amazing run, but he dates their sound to something in the past... not to mention how awful he is live. I feel like a future with Corabi would've been really good for the band once the fans got used to it.
I agree with you 100%. They should’ve called the band something different, started a completely new band. As good as Carabi is he can’t pull off the old songs only because everyone is so used to hearing Vinces voice. Who knows what’s going to happen now that John 5 is in the band. I’ve heard some chatter about them wanting to replace Vince. If they do I think they could make some great new music but again it can’t be called Motley Crue. All of that being said. Vince is terrible live!!!😂🤦🏼♂️
One of the best albums ever. I am a crue fan but I have to say...musically this album was art. John corabi is the man. I still play it as loud as I can even today. I'm ready for a "Hooligans Holiday." One of the best live concerts I've been to. Good ole days.
