Mr. Crist, seriously, that was an epic story. It will be a hilarious bit for your comedy as well. I would have done the same thing. I grew up Indiana from 1968-1989. I have been to the Indy 500 many times. My family had dealerships in Indy. I thank the Lord He protected you. This world is such a mess. You never cease to amaze me with your comedy and stories. You seem like the kind of gent someone could sit down and not only talk about our Lord, but also laugh, and discuss life, and learn a thing or two as well. I don't know if you aware of this, but your comedy makes you to be a teacher as well. There is no doubt you love our Lord. There is surely no sin in laughing. When you discuss the absurdity of life, living day to day, and human struggles you help us see there is a way to deal with it. Laugh, oh for sure, but love as God asks us to day after day. When I saw you on the Duck Call Room I was impressed. You have made some very dear friends there. God bless you Mr. Crist. Please stay on that straight and narrow and bring that laughter into Heaven. I marched in the Purdue Band for 4 years. We did the opening ceremonies for the Indy 500. We left at lap 127 for a reason... Also how did you find sober people to help you? I swear 85% at least are wasted especially after a 3 hour rain delay.

You are too kind to mention that around the track is not the nicest or safest area...I'm sure you were walking on crumbled sidewalks, if there even was sidewalks for the duration of the walk. Let alone i assume this was post storm. Then getting into downtown not much better. Poor guy. We had just got out of church when the storm hit the south of indy...I would've picked you up for sure if I was over your way. Happy you made it 🙌🏻😂

Imagine hauling a guy in your truck bed and he's like "yeah I just hopped off a bus with flava flav" 😂😂😂

I had infield tickets twice. For sure it’s crazy getting out but they move all the cars in one direction and don’t let new traffic towards the track. I don’t remember it worse than say a Colts game.

Dude, I lived 20min from the track my first 20years and it would take us 2 hours to get home and that was parking at a friend's house a couple miles from the track. Same deal for the Brickyard.
