Thanks so much for posting this -- one of my favorite interviews by Craig. John was obviously a fan, and their awkward pause is easly one of the all-time best ever on this show. He's also a genuinely smart guy, very humble, and their interactions are delightful. I wish he'd come back more. (And Craig's right! John is famously tall, and it was lovely to see him next to the also tall Craig himself -- but somehow I always forget that until I see him in situations like this one!)
Love that you posted this. I'd heard that John Cusack was unapproachable and rude, but he comes off sincere and comfortable, on Ferguson. Just shows that one's environment can be a huge factor, on their "comfort zone".
No not at all. He's a very genuine and nice person. He has a low tolerance for fake people though. And a lot of hollywood and reporters are VERY fake so I can understand why they dont think hes warm. :D
The four titans of late night - Johnny, Dave, Conan, and Craig. Ferguson’s show was so good, so unique. Can you imagine *any* of the late night guys today having a conversation like this? It’s so natural and bumpy and fascinating. Miss him.
On yet another day in America of endless grief, it was so much fun to watch these two treasures, and find myself laughing out loud uncontrollably. Thanks for a squinch of relief. I agree with that part from John about, if you don't put a little twist on the absurd, you'd never get out of bed.
I like John. Watching him since Sixteen Candles, but Better Off Dead and The Sure Thing were where he really Stood out to me. Seems like a genuine person
Hot Tub Time Machine is AWESOME. (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo) (great white buffalo)
This guy is GOOD ! I like this guy's movies But I didn't know how good untill I saw his improv . That thing with the shoe was awesome ! And stealing Craig's cup when he wasn't looking , Tuche' 😁 John Cusak says it's possible to drink Yourself sober, that's true I did it once myself
Damn that was an in depth conversation about communism and capitalism and free markets etc. Especially for what's supposed to be late night light entertainment. This is why we need Craig and Josh back, because all we get from James Corden is fucking rap battles.
John is a bit of a tough subject to interview in the first segment, War Inc was a spiritual successor to Grosse Pointe Blank, but it just wasn't the same, it tried to do too much.
I hate these type of silly interviews. When you have such a great actor in the studio and don't ask intelligent and miss the chance to ask intelligent questions.
