In 1987 Daly was paid 2 million dollars play in a tournament in the city where I live. A golfing partner of mine said "If you want to see Daly play, don't wait until the weekend. He spent most of the night in the casino and of course failed to make the cut. Anyone who thinks Diaper Donnie is a good golfer is an idiot.

I honestly have been fortunate enough to play with him a few times, he's about the most humbolist person I've ever meet, he bumbed a smoke off me and then instead to give me a few lessons.

Graham is very Knowledgeable about sports,but playing them is not his thing. But The People he gets to talk he's so lucky. Big John is one of the he's talked to, a natural guy and a Good Golfer and still funny. Hard not to like a guy like that. A bit Like Valentino Rossi. Great to see Big Johns still going. Hear about him now and again up to some funny stuff.⛳🎣😎 best.

So do I. Lol I still use a late 90's king cobra. I have no confidence swinging a milk carton on a stick because I cant get to a point where I feel swing speed! And I can still hit my dad's old Wilson staff persimmon driver 270 or better. Most good ball strikers could! Anyway i loved your observation!

I’d have happily taken one of his jackets and cherished it forever. I don’t golf, never watched golf, but this interview has given me a true hero. The guy understands life. We aren’t here for a long time, have a blast. Eat crappy McDonald’s because they do have pretty great Cokes. Enjoy yourself.

Few golfers can say they’ve won two majors: the PGA AND THE OPEN John did this and the way he handled adversity after Rocco made that impossible putt in the OPEN to force a playoff! That would have unnerved some of the best ever! He should one day be admitted to the Golf Hall of Fame if not already!

You can't deny the guy has had what most people call problems however he seems like such a genuine person. I think he has a really good heart. Offered sports coats, tours and more. Wouldn't mind hanging out with him.
