After I got this tractor I seen a need for several attachments that I could t afford. Since I bought a welding machine and plasma cutter several years ago I collected as many scrap metal pieces I could find and started making my own. I built a set a forks, a 3 point hitch with receiver, a ballast box and now a cart to hold it all. I purchased a FEL and BB with the tractor. I found out though with limited garage space the attachment I needed was always buried behind something or it was always in the way. I decided to remedy that problem with this cart. Hope it inspires you to try to make your own custom attachments. Thanks for watching and let me know your thoughts. Sorry for the poor commentary.

Just the fact that you took the time to go as far as painting all of the equipment!! I'm sure you're very proud!! Outstanding work

Totally awesome. I too have a 1025R and a 12'x30' building and wanting to be efficient, thanks for the idea!

Holy Moly! I searched for "xxx is standing behind your back) videos and found this in the search results. I agree with all the others: fantastic fabrication skills! I'm sure with the right people watching this, you'd get a blowing contract offer or maybe even several. Keep it up!

Awesome work. Makes me want to learn to weld. I worked in a weld shop and ran a plasma cutter as a kid while home for summer from college, but that was all automated stuff. Never got to create anything but armor plating for Humvees! Great job and I love your attitude in dealing with colon cancer. As they say, "You can't keep a good man down"!

I love it. Not all the stuff in particular, but a man with too much time on his hands is always cool in my book.

I have a x534, one year old. Thought about upgrading to a 1025R or 2032r . Was told by the owner of the john deere dealership (37 years as owner) that I have one of the best platforms for cutting grass. Most of the people who get a 1024 or 2032 arn't happy with the underbelly cutter and you almost always have to have a box blade if you have a front end loader to balance the tractor. I have 6 acres but only cut 2.5. I have a few stumps i need to get rid of etc , but no need for a box blade. Loader , yes. He basically said that the larger tractors are just too clumsy to cut around front yards, etc. His suggestion, keep the x534 and buy a larger tractor without the belly cutter...Total upsale, but alot of people on here aren't happy with the stability of their tractors and end up adding weights or antifreeze to their rear tires just to balance it.

I like to make individual racks you can back up to or attach as you need it. Thats a neat space saving idea. Most people owning a tractor better have plenty barn /garage space for them along with needed attachments...chipper , spreaders, log splitter, loader , rotary cutters ect... 2500 ft2 is kinda a minimum..lol
@deernutOO
@deernutOO 7 лет назад
Good idea. Adding the iMatch might help, but minimum I'd put bigger caster wheels on the cart for ease of moving about. Thanks for the video..

Your commentary was not poor, it was excellent - of which 316k views proves! I love the work you've done to solve a problem as many of us have the land, but not the space to store the attachments where it's easy to get at them with ease. Keep up the great work!

Nice job. Yes the implements have a way of eating realestate. Get the quick hitch. I guarantee you'll love it. Mine is 5 years old and everything is still tight and hasn't needed adjustment. Also welded a pintle hitch halfway above my drawbar tube to snatch trailers with higher couplers. Don't have to raise tongue jacks for quick relocations. Again, nice job and great design on the dolly.

You should be in charge of videos for John Deere. The reason I bought my Kubota L3200 is because of the comparison video JD had showing their tractor versus the Kubota. I t sold me on Kubota after one viewing. You are quite the craftsman. I am impressed with your layout and fabrication skills. In spite of Terence Gillespie's rude and rather humorless comments, I think you have done a great job. Glad you enjoy your equipment.

Thank you sir. When I did this video I was doing chemotherapy for colon cancer. This was a "good" day and fabrication kept my mind off of what was happening to my body. I appreciate your comments and encouragement.

Nice. I can see something that might help ease the loading. Two short tabs that would contact the cutting edge of the loader bucket to use as stops to aide in the forward placement. Just a thought, other than that it's perfect. Great job.

Watching again, I'd add the iMatch to the list of attachments, then fabricate the necessary parts to pick up the forks with the iMatch. Another versatile tool as well as then could pick up the entire cart via the forks and move it across whatever terrain to the finale storage spot. just a thought in case the cart can't be rolled there on the small wheels...
@nyycanseco33

Great job of using the limited space to your advantage, I love the engineering and metal fabrication that went into building this cart and your attachments. I have the John Deere 1023e with the H120 front end loader, ballast box, and 60" mid mount mower. I also bought the iMatch hitch system and a receiver hitch later on (wish I stumbled onto this video sooner so I could fab a receiver hitch like yours). FYI the iMatch is a time and back saver! You'd definitely benefit having an iMatch with that rear box blade. I'd love to build a set of forks like yours, I have an arc welder and a flux welder, would love to fab up something similar to that set. Keep up the great work!

nice, those attachments look well made. You know for ballast another option is to have beet juice or something like antifreeze pumped into the rear tires that will help significantly you can either have the dealer do it for you or do it yourself, there's plenty of DIY videos on that as well.
