This John Deere 1050 tractor was being driven and overheated on the operator. Operator checked the coolant when the engine cooled down and noticed most of the water was gone. The oil level was checked and was found that the coolant had leaked into the crankcase as the oil was grey and the oil level rose by ~2 inches! Yikes! What happened? Watch and find out! We take the cylinder head off, examine the head gasket as well as pull the cylinder liners out to see where the failure is at. This video will also be a general reference to the John Deere 850 and 950 models as well.
