www.nytractorparts.co.uk/john-deere-parts/fuel-and-exhaust/turbochargers.html?model=3640 I bought this kit. It included both intake and exhaust manifolds and gaskets, turbo and its gaskets, clamps and hoses for the turbo lubrication, bolts and instructions for the installation. Injection pump and injectors are stock but the fueling has been increased a little, no visible smoke from the exhaust. Also injection pump timing has been advanced a little. It makes around 110hp at the pto shaft I would say. The hole in the aluminium thing for the oil return in the turbo was a bit too small so I recommend to either bore it larger or just replace one with a larger hole.
Ahy ahora mismo segun se ve el turbo esta de mas ,no hace ninguna función, y modificar el flujo de la bonba inyectora no aumenta cv si no se hace un buen reglaje combustible y aire,
Do u know how to adjust the fuel on the cav style pumps? My 2940 was turboed and used for pulling before I got it and it needs to be turned down a little. Thanks in advance
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qNKNqavKiBk.html. Here is an explanation how to adjust fueling on most of the cav dpa style pumps. The actual adjustment while pump is on vehicle is done under small hole covered with a metal plate secured with two bolts.
@@xade7863 Same direction as the pump is rotating to lower fueling. You'll find an arrow on the pump serial number plate pointing the direction your pump is rotating
Hey! I have a problem with the hydraulics on a John deere 3350, there are pressure pulsations from the front pump, the linkage and steering work in jumps, the main valve still hangs in the open position (it is under the cab on the right) ... what could be the reason?
Ive got the exact same problem on my 2140 and i believe its because a pipe in the rear end has split and only leaks when its been running for a while as you said the steering goes heavy and works in jumps and it cant take any weight on the rear
@@2Broke2Smoke We changed the front pump, there is no pulsation on the hydraulic outlet sections at the rear, but there is still pulsation on the hitch when you raise the plow. It is interesting that when the front wheels are level, the plow rises without jerks (pulsations)
@@2Broke2Smoke It seems that the front pump does not have enough oil, although it (oil) goes through the cooling radiator, which means there is an excess ... I don’t know what the problem is
@@raptor112 i just presure tested and tested the flow rate on it. the presure is great when cold but drops to almost nothing when the shuddering starts and the flow rate from the low pressure pump in the rear axel is absolute shite and i think thats the problem, what i guess is happening is the high pressure pump is running out of oil to pump and starts cavitating (pumping air)
