Thank you sir. Swapping a diesel into my 425, also. That hydraulic fitting is called a flat face o-ring boss fitting. Caterpillar uses them everywhere. Whoever tries this diesel swap. The driveshafts are different lengths, radiator shroud is different, harness is different, 425 has no fuel return line and it's on the wrong side.
I have a 425 that cuts off every time you let off the parking brake and hit the accelerator. Replaced brake switch, replaced seat switch, replaced ignition board. It drives with the parking break on. Any idea what is the cause?
I did get it running, It's not perfect but I can reliably mow the grass and have been for the past 4-5 mowings. There's small leaks around the steering cylinder and the rear axle seal but I'm in no hurry to fix them
