Things going wrong..i used to be an electronics technician..i can remember things would just go smoothly, most stuff would get fixed or tune up as expected..then, you run into these 1, 2, 3, 4 week streaks when you cant do a darn thing right..you get do the point were you start really trying to be careful, you up your game, you ask advice, you do everything per the book, but shit keeps failing.

I’ve had similar problem with a pea viner hydra-static motor and it was locking up now and again and would go like hell down road. And I found that someone put a fresh set of pipes from a valve block to motor but got them wrong way around. I swapped them around never a problem after. Also I don’t know if it has sensors to motors them viners has a slip control when the sensor went down it would do similar thing you had swap to manual slip control in the computer and it would stop. Every year we had to do case leak test with them. Love channel Warren

Warren, I had a new hagie sts 12 that quite moving but it had good charge pressure. The product manager for hagie gave us a new hydro to put in the machine. After I replaced the hydro it still didn't move. I flow rated the hydro. I talked to one of the engineers at hagie on this machine and we did a case drain test and found two wheel motors that had high return on the case drain that was causing the wheel motors to not spin themselves at all. I would check the case drains on those two motors.

Hi Warren thanks again for your video, as you’ve mentioned tee in a gauge at all 4 motors and see what pressure you have at each motor, your issue seems to be like your one wheel motor is the cause the difference in forward and reverse is the direction of oil flow it’s almost like a hydraulic oil lock causing the engine to labour? Check to see if the motor you suspect has a higher case drain leak off, record time and litres hopefully you’ll find your issue 👍 Regards, Luke 🇬🇧🔧

I would suggest on the Wilmar hydro to swap the cartridges side to side - Left to Right - and see if the issue moves. If not then the issue is likely in a motor on the side that loads the engine. I think the pump swash plate is moving as you have reverse but there may be an issue mechanically in the rotating group. Case drain also is a good idea before buying a motor or more valves. Good video - keep up the good work

Well...luv that coffee cup mate. I like your style and work ethic. A lot of owners are their own worst enemies. Bad machine operators, awful at oil changes and servicing intervals. You watch some their videos when changing hydraulic hoses when swapping implements, no attempt to clean out the dirt on the couplings. 80% of all hydraulic problems are from dirt entry. When challenged about it..but it's got a filter. Best part is that you use a shop manual and use a torque wrench. Now as for that sprayer, those valve o-rings and those white back up rings were shot. Anyways I like your videos, no BS, st8 shooter. Thank you.🇦🇺🇺🇲

I've got a John Deere that is hard to start. But if you move the steering wheel back and forth when trying to start, it starts then. Otherwise, it cranks very slowly like it is under labor or hydraulic pressure. Doesn't matter if in neutral or park. It is on its 4th starter now. The last two are gear reduction.

Railroad was probably a "High Hat"--a road vehicle with rail wheel adapters. Those range from around 3/4 to over 5 ton trucks in 2 and 3 axle configurations. They can sound passing strange, especially if the rail wheels are not fully aligned. Or if traction is from friction from dual rear rubber road tires. The MoW (Maintenance of Way) vehicles use all manner of exposed engines, too, which may or may not have working mufflers.

You are dead on about the insurance. Had an older neighbor who we ended up having to take to the emergency room due to heart problems. He ended up in ICU for 4 days and stayed in the hospital for a total of 14 days. He was on disability from the forest service for a back injury 25 years before this & had no insurance. He asked the wife and I to help him with the billing stuff because they told him he owed just over 38k for everything and he didn't have that much in the bank. Once my wife explained to the billing office that he had no coverage at all but wanted to pay cash for his treatment, the lady with the hospital finally whittled it down and told us they would settle for 4,680.00. I never realized how badly hospitals are gouging everyone until she came up with that number. 33 grand and some change difference between the real cost for his hospital stay and what they make the insurance company pay. No wonder insurance premiums are so high, the medical community gouges the Hell out of them because they know they can get away with it.

JCB teletruck's (tlt25/30D) were the main thing in my world for busting cab windows - always had to check an operator hadn't stuffed a hammer or such other item under the seat runners before tilting that cab. You could break the back window too! If they had the vertical exhaust option it was secured to the rear of the cab by a small rubber bobbing/mount at the top - raise the cab and it would stretch and when it broke the exhaust would flick straight through the back screen on the rebound 😂. Think I was the only guy at my employer at the time who hadn't manage to do it.

For that sprayer, can you bypass the valve body and plumb directly to each motor to see if one makes it labor? That is, if the case drain doesn't give you any indication? Or would it be too much flow to an individual motor? Also, with that valve body, is it possible that there is a crack internally that is allowing it to cross ports? Might be another thing to pressure test when off the sprayer.

I like me adjustable ratchet head wrenches, especially those that lock in a certain position. And may I thank you for supporting Trump by having that coffee cup. Once again great content. I had bought an Altec hydraulic test kit, yes a tad pricey yet it does allow you to hook up to a couple of ports for testing multiple ports at the same time, might be worth looking into for diagnostic on that sprayer and future projects.

No expert on hydraulics or hydrostatics, but grew up on a farm and was a mechanic for the first 20 year of my work career. Feel I have a fair understanding of hydraulics. If low is series flow then your thinking about a motor having a problem seem legit to me because one motor could effect the other. I think you explained that the front and rear motor circuits tee, so that does not support a left right problem. I realize it will no be easy, but think you should do the “pressure tee in” check at each motor. I think that way you will have a better knowledge if it will work if you go ahead and plumb it for low speed only. IDK my two cents worth.

My logical guess for Sprayer: There is a chunk of brittle rubber seal, jamming a valve. Disconnect all lines, use air to blow out every line. Check all valves & controls in cab, that are associated with it's operation. Flush all lines with Sea Foam.
@waynep343
@waynep343 3 года назад
On the sprayer.. could the pressure regulating valve spring be broken inside the pressure regulating valve.. that will drop pilot pressure almost to zero.. only way to tell is remove the pressure regulating valve.. figure out how to get the piston out as there is a retaining ring inside the bore you have to fish out with the piston depressed against the spring.. then knock the piston out and examine the spring..

There’s health insurance that is really good if your really healthy or really sick. Premiums are low because you pay 100 percent up to $10,000, then nothing after that. So, it covers you for the really big stuff, like if your truck goes over coming off the mountain, and you wake up in the ICU after a month to a couple hundred thousand dollar bill.
