It might say 4320 on the side panels but that thing has a 4520 or 4620 engine. 4320's did not have the intercoolers on them just a turbo. She is nice either way.
@@LisleviewFarm Yea, the 4320 didn't come with that turbo bulge in the hood from the factory. They did a good job on the sheet metal work. The engines for all three models 4320, 4520, and 4620 were the same size just different compression ratios on the 4520 and 4620. The 4620 also came with the intercooler. Spent some time on a 4620 back in the 1980's planting. My neighbor has a super clean all original 1972 4620. She is a beauty. He uses it twice a year to pull a five yard scraper to maintain his driveway. Maybe gets 10 hours of use a year.
When I was a teenager, the discbines did not exist yet. We first used a 7' (wimper/cry) Hesston Mo/Co and then upgraded to a 9' NH Haybine. I did not wear ear protection (such a new concept). The equipment noise was drowned out by the head banging hard rock playing on the tractor fender radio! My family said they new where I was cuz they could hear me 1/2 mile away! Man I wish this was smell-a-vision!!
That other guy stole my comment, sun’s out guns out 💪💪😂😂 Did you find it dryied slower not having the rubber conditioning rollers? That’s some beautiful alfalfa
This reminds me of when I used to help some family friends cut, rake and bale hay. Their dad was like a second dad to me and I learned a lot from him. Thank you for the great videos and Happy Fathers Day! #supercleangiveaway
That tractor looks like it's been modified. Whoever did it had to make room for a larger turbo charger and an intercooler. The 4320 didn't come with an intercooler on it. What type of conditioner do you like the best? The poly rollers or those v tines? Good video thank you for sharing.
Its a nice tractor. They've done a nice job with it. I've really only run the poly rollers. This was the first time ever using the V tines. They didn't seem to do a bad job.
Great job! Thanks for making videos that I can relate to. Shows that you can be a quality operation without millions of dollars in equipment. Hope your hay goes up without a hitch.
Mike sitting there watching you drive that tractor reminds me of the time I drove my neighbors tractor it was brand new at the time 90s model case 5120 that was the first tractor I ever learn to drive that tractor is what got me in into tractors and farming to begin with love your videos keep up the good work.....hash tag super clean giveaway...... thanks for the videos Mike.... at 11:28 you get a good view of what John Deere calls the "Rockshaft Swivel Hitch". It is a very well engineered setup, the tractor pto shaft goes straight into the bottom of a 90 degree vertical gearbox, which is also the drawbar pivot point on the headstock. The power goes upward into another 90 degree gearbox which sends the power back thru a shaft inside the tongue, where at the end, there is a pair of universal joints to handle the frame moving to the left or right controlled by a hydraulic cylinder. We have a pair of these JD 835 MoCos with urethane roller conditioners and the Rockshaft Swivel Hitch, they are pretty reliable and produce a nice consistent cut.
After we combined the corn I disked the corn stalks in the fall and we spread manure on it throughout the winter. That was a couple years ago. Its about due to be turned over and made corn again
Sorry for my late reaction was doing replanting some cornground anyways great video and realy Nice tractor have a good day greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Good video mike. That 4320 looks to be in great shape. Wish our 835 had the 2pt swivel hitch instead of a drawbar hitch. I will agree mowing on your left is a bit awkward.
Yeah it was a long day but we got that field chopped and put in the silo the next day. I gotta put that video together. The moco was nice but I still would rather have the self propelled discbine and we definitely aren't getting a new one of those! lol
Your buddy has an absolutely gorgeous setup. That is what I call having fun mowing alfalfa. I could do that all day long I never get tired. Hope you're having a great day so far
