John Deere 8650 coupled to Delmade 1075 52 plate offset disc and 8850 coupled to International 770 48 plate offset disc preparing ground to be sown with poppies in slippery conditions on a Northern Tasmanian property.

We had to rebuild the high/low pack after the first season which was just bad luck. The engine had only done a couple of hundred hours on a full rebuild and goes really well. I reckon they’re a great tractor, good luck with yours.

Floyd Gabel yes we have duals but it’s too wide to run down our local roads with them on

Had many issues with the 8850? I just purchased one hopefully it will run smoothly for a few years to come.

Ii had one from new with 20.8x42 duals on it and the inside with 75% water , made a HUGE difference to wheelslip in heavy going :) ...a great tractor :)
