Hey DJ! The P576 is in fact the exact same seeder as the 1870 air hoe drill. John Deere just renamed it to fit in with their new seeder designation system.
Been waiting on this one to get back to farming on Southern Cross Station. Attingham has been treating me well in the mean time though, but I am missing my big iron! Thanks for the vid DJ

1. No, you have to use the air cart for the seeds. 2. Just put solid fertilizer in the front tank. (As shown at 5:18) It will automatically be added while seeding.
