Bringing back to life a gator I picked up on FB marketplace for $500. Follow me: / dexter.ranch / dexterranch / dexterranch Email me: dexterranch@yahoo.com
I liked your video about your John Deere Gator. I just recently purchased a used Gator 4x2 that looks like yours. I'm really pleased with it. I have some questions to ask of you. Is there any way I can contact you?
That was a good deal!...........Love the old gators, dirt simple and reliable...........We have a gas 6x4 here we put a billion hours on and it had a billion on it when we got it, runs every day of the year, couldn't live without it.
Another thing I like is that it’s a slow enough unit that the kids don’t have any interest. So it won’t get ruined, and it will get me anywhere I need to go on 20 acres quick enough.
@@dexterranch I bought ours just for that reason, they are so low and slow they can't really hurt themselves on it. I run tractors between places and they can follow me and pick me up. I would be lost without it and definitely go through more boots!
I was thinking about getting this model, I think it's 1997-2005 depedning on my research, do you think you could still get tall those same parts today?
Hello excellent job. I just pick one up worse than that but want to do the same restoration. I know you said call John Deere what's the number or part numbers or can you post a link for me on the place and ideas you order thanx.
Thanks. The best thing to do is jump on the John Deere website and punch in your serial number so that you know you are ordering the right parts for your exact machine. Here is the link to that. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. And good luck with your machine. They are everything you need for a small to medium sized property. partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/
