@andysshop changing transmission oil in a GT225 or GT235. 4.6 liters (almost 5 quarts). Please feel free to argue about the fluid, however, the old John Deere manuals call for 10w-30 and Tuff Torq used to send them out with 10w-30. This mower does not have power steering or a hydraulic lift. Tuff Torq will recommend their own brand , which is more expensive, and John Deere does the same. I did much research on all the forums and have collected screenshots of the old manuals stating to use 10w-30. So do some research yourself, and depending on your climate, use 5W-50 full synthetic or 10W-30 full synthetic or JD Hy Gard low or high viscosity.
