This selection of filmstrips keeps getting more interesting. That little 2010 looks like fun on a bun. Can't wait to see how the next couple videos turn out. Stay tuned!
Yeah she was a failure for sure. The development team on it claimed all the development budget went to the 3010/4010, and it shows. I think the 2010 was forced to carry over a bunch of driveline and axle parts from the outdated 430/530
Awesome informative footage! What is that lever for Ander the clutch pedal showed at 3:56? A friend of mine has a JD 4620 (on retirement) , which has a knop (like a Jacke break) near the clutch pedal not knowing what for. Someone an idea?
The small pedal under the clutch is used to dump the hydraulic pressure to make starting in cold weather easier on the engine. Don't know yet if that feature was available on the larger tractors or not. If you would like, John Deere has free manuals that are downloadable on there manuals page. If you search for a model & find something you want to read, just hit the download button. It may take a minute or two before the box pops up to begin your download, so be patient.
@@ikonseesmrno7300 thanks a lot for the information, even that manual download! I will give it a try. Very interesting detail and never heard about 👍! THX
I have threatened to sell mine a few times, still might yet. Has been an ongoing problems but hopefully nearly on top of them for now. Doesn’t seem to be many fans of the 2010 here, Ive heard they were a lemon, its off more than it is on.
My father bought mine in 1981. Since we bought it (with loader), we have resurrected it 15 times…. Several engine rebuilds, an accident rear axle replacement (hit by a car), the 3pt lift cylinders were replaced, a transmission rebuild followed by a complete transmission replacement several years later. She’s a cantankerous little tractor, but I just can’t seem to let it go myself
@@MidwestFarmToys Picked it up and dropped it off at a friend’s farm. We played with it, tried to get the engine unstuck, but no luck. It has been sitting ever since.
