I have the same one. 3 years and bout 60 hrs later still loving it!

I have the exact same mower and I love mine too. I've even added a mulching kit.

Those levers are meant to protect your transmission. When you push the mower by hand, the leavers need to be in the forward position. I got stuck in the mud couple times and slid those levers forward while I towed the mower out.

I own a Z345R with a 42 inch deck that I took delivery of last summer . I have 1/2 acre in Wrightstown , Wisconsin . I mounted the ZGlide front suspension forks cause my yard is all clay , like riding on thousands of golf balls . This ZeroTurn replaced my LA135 tractor I owned since 2010 . JD makes great equipment . I also have a JS46 walk behind mower and a 928E Snowthrower . Love them all ! I had a mulch kit mounted also . Hi test plus Sea Foam is the mix . My JDDealer told me this trick . No more fuel issues !
