John Deere Zero Turn Mower Z355E Caster Wheel Yoke Bearing Replacement/Repair DIY How To Video

In this video Sr. is working to repair his John Deere Z-Track Z355E Zero Turn Lawn Mower. He shot this to help others do this repair as there isn't a video explaining it for this model. He explains how to replace/repair the front caster wheel yoke bearings. Yes the Z355E doesn't utilize plastic bushings it used the John Deere AM127304 sealed bearings. Remember each yoke uses two(2). They have a top and bottom bearing. Bellow is a recap of the part#'s for the bearings, top cap & bolt.
Bearings: AM127304 x2 per caster yoke
Top Cap: GX26550
Top Bolt: 19M7783

Appreciated the parts number in the video. Deere has consolidated in the Northeast and the United Ag and Turf Company is evil expensive. Totally gouges for service.

I put a link to the parts I had to order. If your ztrac is not the same model, the website linked will show you a parts breakdown diagram and list of the part#'s for your model. It's a great website.

Bought parts twice now that were recommended and did not work, this will be my third attempt. Really hoping these are the right ones for my model, Thank you hahah. They all keep saying the parts are for Z355E and then they dont fit lol

If you have a Z355E these bearings will be correct. Also if you ever need any other replacement parts go to the link I put in the description. You will find a complete breakdown in the form of multiple data sheets that will give you every part that may need replaced.

Whatever you do, don't buy a Kubota zero turn. I flipping HATE mine. Had SO many problems with it. But thanks for the vid. Gotta fix mine soon again.

I used a small punch & hammer. You should be able to use even maybe a flat head screw driver & hammer. Really anything small/long enough to get at it then just tap it out with a hammer. It really wasn't too difficult.

At the time I changed these bearings it had I believe 51 hours. Now I did purchase it second hand so I don't know how it was treated by the previous owner.

This was purchased from a John Deere dealer. It definitely wasn't cheap either per say. The JD Z355E purchase was due to a recommendation. For what it is, it is a strong machine. Our next purchase though will probably be an Exmark. Which big box store is selling these if I might ask?

I paid to have mine repaired in November and 1 year later, it's busted again. Hopefully mine magically assembles itself like yours did in this video...but why are you bitching about a mower you've never had a problem with, except this?

First things first our repair did not magically assemble itself. To address the issue Sr. has with this mower. It has to do with his comparison to other mowers he has owned and operated. So as explained Sr. due to the experience he has with many other zero turns and their performance he is not very happy overall with the John Deere z355e. Ofcoarse remember this is only his opinion. Which due to fact that the country we reside in is legal to publish. His opinion is that in comparison to the other brands he has had the opportunity to own and operate this unit when it comes to performance is not to his liking. That's it. Just his opinion. But also he has had multiple issues with this mower prior to this one. That he did not film.
