Wonderful interview with Robert and James. Wow and John’s never watched interviews or anything about himself. Now there’s a real humble man with no big ego.
I was shocked many years ago before the Whispering Jack album came out when John said he and his family were short of money to the point where they didn't have enough money to even go to Macca's.
John is such a talented and lovely person who's music is appreciated by many generations. His sons are just as nice - I'm the same age as them and feel grateful I saw Olivia and John perform. Wishing John well.
I have just finished reading John's biography: "Playing to Win". Terrific read...well worth it and lots in there i didn't know. We Aussies can be very proud of him👍😊 What is clear though is that John IS a fighter and very tenacious. He has this on his side to battle his cancer, along with the love of his very close-knit family. 🖐😁❤
Get well soon John. I sincerely hope you recover with no further issues. Much love to you and thank you for the happiness you have given us over your lifetime. Your fans love you❤
I went to watch the JF movie on Mother's Day with friends. I cried in silence bc his songs You're the Voice & especially Touch of Paradise brought back memories for me. Then I really cried. My friends were surprised to see me crying... sending lots of prayers & blessings to John Farnham. Heres to a speedy recovery ❤
Hey John, you have touched so so many hearts. Now we all thankyou from deep down in our hearts. & send you many blessing to heal 🙏 ✨️ Our John Aussie Aussie Aussie ♥️
I so wish I could travel to Australia and see John and Jill and family. also while there I would want to see Jimmy and Jill and family... but alas I am a widow on social security...😢
I stood in front of your dad when he brought Sadie out and loved him and his music you have a great mum and dad i send love prayers to you all and John thankyou for your music I danced with the master apprentice too
I met John for the first time when he was performing at the Doncaster shopping centre in Melbourne, it must have been 1980. He was singing all the early favourites like Sadie the cleaning lady, raindrops etc. I was Nine years old and he was 22 I think. I fell in love with him, and have followed his career ever since. Such a wonderful chap, entertainer, singer and Aussie icon. Wishing you a complete recovery John with peace and happiness to follow🙏🏻🥰
Saw the movie yesterday 28/5/23. It is a great movie and i would recommend everyone get of your back side and go and see it. Dont forget to take a tissue with you, i choked back a tear or 2. Loved it, all the best to John and his family.
So happy to hear John is on the mend 🎉 I’ve loved John since I was 11 years old ! I’m now 66 , unfortunately I never got to any of his concerts however I have all his Albums ❤ I also have his autograph that my late Mum got for me when he performed at Shellharbour NSW when I was madly in love with him . ❤❤❤
Get Well Soon John, his Sons are just as humble as he is, I Wish Him a Full Recovery from this horrible disease, You have just about All of Australians Praying and Sending Healing Vibes Your Way, can’t wait to see the movie. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ Beautiful Boys with a Beautiful Heart for they’re Dad. Also Thank You for The Music 🎶 Over The Years, Your Our Own Legend Here In Australia. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I saw John when I was a teenager in the warrata parade in Brisbane. What an amazing entertainer. Love how he performed in Timor Leste. Love you John 😘😘😘
John is a real Aussie with a fantastic sense of humour I remember he use to have dinner in the Nar Nar Goon hotel sometimes in the olden days I think some relatives use to live around this area I wish you all the best and your family you know we'll still love you very much ❤
Well done chaps, you’re dad would be proud, all the best to you mister farnham for giving the world one of the most beautiful performers of all time, you talent and love for song has been a huge part of my life and I sincerely hope you continue to be the awesome person that you are, get well soon mate.
I remember his birthday party (i think his 50th) and I think it was James who performed with his band as part of the concert with all John's friends. I wonder what happened to that band
I was a teenager in the 80s and 16 when Whispering Jack came out. Its hard to imagine now that he was pretty much a joke until that album came out. The album was revolutionary for him.
Absolute Legend. Having said that, i really want to know why no one has done a bio movie about the greatest singer Aus has ever produced, the greatest female singer ever, who went through so many trials in her life, Judith Durham.
Jack has always been a straight up guy . Some of his "Friends" are a bit dubious But all I know since going to see him at Innaloo Rooftop Carpark and singing Sadie with him he planted great memories ...
They haven't really told the public anything about His health update ... the new update is John sings around the house and walks with a cane and no more cancer if your updating tell us something or tell us nothing ...

It's not flippant. It's an acknowledgement that some things we can't change. And actually, when you get cancer, you do need to accept that it is what it is, because there's nothing you can do to change the fact other than undergo treatment, which is obviously what's already happening in this case.
