You said exactly what I've been commenting on John Farnham reactions, this legend has the best voice ever. It's because he can sing from ballads to soul, pop to country, rhythm and blues to rock, punk to, and this even surprised me, opera. This icon is one freak of the music industry. And I have a special thank you Nick for getting John's music out there because ever since you started reacting to Farnsey a lot of other people picked up on John Farnham and boy he deserves it. Being 57 there is not a song of John's that doesn't transport me back in time. I'm sad that I didn't appreciate his voice as much as it warrented during the 80s and 90s, but overjoyed to be rediscovering him now. When the time comes that John is no longer with us, it will require a national day of mourning. We all hope that is a long long way into the future. Rock on John!

I love how he starts when he is talking so sweetly. Like he is going to sing my Nana a song from when she was young. Then from the first note she passed out. He always makes me smile or laugh and feel good. Last night I took my last pill that I am given for blocking pain. The Pharmaceutical company decided they didn’t make enough money on that one and just stopped it. In two weeks it will be 3 months of weaning off withdrawal. When I turned this on I was sitting on my bed not loving how I felt. When it was finished it was like what pain? Thank you for loving John as much as we do.🦋

Hard to believe this man had trouble getting a gig at any point in his career. Shame on the Aus music industry for not helping build this man up for all the world to see and appreciate, but now he has awesome reactors and fans like you and us who will continue to shout it from the information super-highway rooftops. Thankyou sooooo much for appreciateting like I have since was 8 years old sat on his knees gave me a kiss and autograph that was stolen from me....Through the 70's was missing him.... told my friends we were into Skyhooks... I said Mark my words he's coming back.... I got laughed at but who has the last laugh...God bless this beautiful talented human...Am 63years...and am still pining over my Johnny Farnham (at the time) autograph..God bless him...and heard today his eldest son Robert is getting married in February next year.... This is a new one for me ,never seen this before, and I thought I'd seen everything Farnsey had done ,I've been following him since the 1960's , find and play as many more of these as you like . Oh, and yes , we do have a great pool of talent here in Australia ,and John Farnham is the best of them
Looks like this was aired during John's lean years, possibly on Farnham & Byrne or The Don Lane Show, when he was close to broke and couldn't get his career back on track - but he still gave the audience 1000% 😊 What a voice, and what a survivor!
Holy shit, he sounds incredible here - probably the best I've ever heard in terms of clear, pure, high notes. I know I'm biased by growing up with him around, but I genuinely think he's just in the top 10 singers of any genre, ever, in terms of natural ability and performance, showmanship. He was just born for a stage, wasn't he?

Love it when you're trying to work out the notes hes hitting. He can sing anything and his voice is just the G.O.A.T. Who can sing Little Richard, then Pavarotti, then ACDC, and then the ballads and so on ❤❤
I'm an Aussie and never heard me brother JF perform its pretty good with a bit of more modern musical backing him up but when I first heard Elvis do this it blew me away and have 2this day never heard any better RIP EP

Interesting that we see plenty of interviews with people who KNEW he was good, but we never see interviews with those idiots who made those decisions to refused to play his music. They should have been called out for the idiots they were. I'd like to see interviews with THOSE people on the hot seat, explainging WHY they thought he wasn't good enough...

Pity you have chosen the ' Australian government no more home for 90% of Aussies, you should look deeper into John, we are mostly born here after all, it is really bad.
