Im from New Zealand of the all blacks team. John Farnham, is so renowned from Australia. he has a powerhouse of a Voice that the world loved him. New Zealand loves he more ❤🎉

Controlled power, multiple genres, audience rapport and a superb VOOICE. Nobody leaves a JF concert unhappy!!!! A great performer, and you should hear his version of The Beatles "Help" from the same concert.

He is absolutely great and fantastic! Always was and always will be to Australia! So sorry that the rest of the musical world missed out on John Farnham, other great singers and bands because Overseas music experts thought that Australian talent wasn’t up to there standards. The musical world was denied!

At the 4min mark John throws the mic stand up in the air and catches it just before he throws it to the side. He's always a great performer. And he xan still hit the high note now.

John Farnham was at his peak from 1986 to 1994. Not only could he hit the high notes, he was a great performer ie when he was not chatting on stage.

*He threw the mic stand to the other side of the stage....not at the crowd. Then later you see he whips it up with his leg. He also does the stand flip and catches it at times.*

Gotta find John performing his first ever hit, Sadie (which he loves to hate), especially the live version at this concert with the Melbourne Symphony. The Symphony, the band, the lighting and sound people all go nuts. The other great one from this concert is Its A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock and Roll

🎵 It’s A Long Way To The Top is one of my favourites. MSO conductor Dobbs Franks has an absolute ball with John. Rock band and symphony orchestra together having fun and laughing together is brilliant 👍

You need to go back and watch him toss it in the then catch it before he tosses it across the stage. John just loves to play around with the mikestand, it's all part of his performance. As far as I know, he has never hit anyone with it; and if he did, he would be mortified. John is a true gentleman and consummate entertainer. As far as Australia is concerned, he is the Greatest Of All Time.

he always throws the mic stand lol INTERESTINGLY the bagpipes were removed from the American release as the American record label said Bagpipes were unacceptable for a American audience
