Truly an amazing talent. Still going strong too, June 2024. Somewhere tonight, he's playing another gig. Not only is he a great songwriter, guitarist, harmonica player, singer...he's just a fantastic stage performer. Puts on a show. I will always appreciate what he did in the dark days of the pandemic 4 years ago. People were dropping like flies from a virus we didn't understand. It was surreal. And John made beautifully produced songs in his house, just him and his guitar and put them on youtube. It gave me some sense of normalcy hearing him belt out his old tunes in that familiar voice.
I am now 80 years of age, and without a doubt, of ALL the R & R bands that ever played, John Fogerty's CCR reigns ABSOLUTELY SUPREME! No finer music, lyrics, and no finer vocal delivery ANYWHERE!! JOHN FOGERTY FOREVER!
I took my daughter to see John Fogerty on Father's Day 2016. His granddaughter was there and came on stage to give him a Father's Day gift. He opened it on stage. It was a plaid shirt. LOL. Great concert. My daughter at 22 LOVED his music. So much better than the crap that artists come up with now.
Good, it's quite rare to see young adults enjoy some good classic rock n roll. I'm 27 and my mum introduced me to ccr when I was five, my uncle gifted me a Walkman and mum had cassettes like ccr, Bruce Springsteen, mj, John denver, Kenny Rogers and many more. Eversince then I've been hooked onto rock n roll and country. And me hailing from a city in the southern part of India, I used to go to the bars where they had retro nights and I was surprised to see quite a lot of rock n roll fans. I hope this music doesn't fade away and people of my generation should keep it alive.
When I listen this rock banda^ the creedence^ I can"t help remembering that back in the 60"s We where living hard times in the state (it was vientnam war) I also can listen two John Fogertys songs, and I can se that like all af us wore worried about what was going on. I love his músic. LOOKING OUT MY BACK DOOR. I also remeber my older brother, he alredy past away, but he was the first to listen this most butifull songs. THANKS JOHN FOGERTY FOR YOUR. CREATIVITY.
@@terrihaynes6350 El fue el alma de CCR, y sigue siendo una estrella q otros intereses nunca pudieron apagar. Amo su talendo desde q yo tenía 7 años. Hoy tengo 60.
When John says " we just want to rock out, so lets go" and then John proceeds to play one of the most iconic riffs in rock history...the opening riff to "Green River." Chills!
I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth but with John Fogerty in my ears. I don't regret, I still love his music! Thanks to my dad and to this fabulous musician!
I can’t believe the energy on stage! John acts more like a guy in his 20’s than someone who is old enough to get Medicare and Social Security. 😄 Watching him trade licks with that youngster on guitar during Old Man Down the Road was amazing!
I just wanted to let you know I thank John Fogerty for his Awesome music 🎵🎶🎵🎶 I'm 70yrs young and I grew up with this Ingreatable MUSIC........ 🤞🍀🍀😎💯🎵🎶🆒

At 70/71 here in this vid, I'm impressed at John's energy and the status of his voice. It's still there and in great shape. No denying it. Sounds like the radio in the 70's. Mad respect to John. What a treasure. Thanks for all the songs JF.

I love JF, my father introduced me to CCR, and today I can't go without listening once a day......I lost my father last year, and whenever I hear it I remember him....thank you CCR, thank you JF.. ..hug...
And STILL writing new material and STILL recording. Plus his two sons and his daughter are all very talented musicians in their own right. Seventy six years old... and looks like he's in his fifties. Hope he's around for a long long time!!!
At his 50th anniversary concert at Red Rock... there was an OLD blue Kustom tuck 'n roll head and big bottom. A single head version of the double head one he played on decades ago. I wondered when I saw it... if it was his original amp after all these years... or if it was one he found. Pretty cool to see it up there on the stage though. Talk about bringing back memories........................
When he said he would NOT pay royalties to sing songs HE wrote... he meant it!!!!!! Waited until all the lawsuits were settled, and he had his original recordings and rights back... THEN he started performing again. Can't blame him one damn bit. They thought they could screw him... they thought WRONG.
I was born in 1956, in 1969 I was listening to John and CCR from there on! You have a beautiful talented family John. Many wonderful memories through your music!
John Fogerty is a true American cultural treasure! I had the great fortune and joy to see him and his band in concert. I took my youngest son and my best friend of 50 years. He played the entire "Cosmos Factory" album as well as many of my favorite songs from CCR. It was like a never ending jam! My friend couldn't believe all the hits played and my son was in awe... Everyone was up on their feet all night! We all agreed it was the best, most satisfying concert we'd ever been at! If I wanted to give someone an idea of what American music was, It'd point them to John Fogrety and CCR! I'm 63 years old and have been listing to his music most of my life... Keep on chooglin' y'all !
Truly beautiful lovely to hear that at your age you can still rock and roll like the old man himself John Fogerty what a dream to go to his concert in America for the first time in my life 💯🧬🔥✨🌹

I heard CCR for the first time when I was 11 years old in 1970 and from that day I decided that Rock and Roll was the music that I was going to like forever. CCR the best band in history and JF the best singer-songwriter. I listened to all the big bands and CCR was the BEST by far
John, I have been watching a lot of your videos and enjoy everyone of them. I remember being a 9 or 10 yrs old and they were advertising CCR on TV a channel out of St. Louis. When I got old enough to leave home and work I bought the cassette tapes. Then when the CDs came out I bought them to. Glad to see God has blessed you with a wonderful wife and children. Sincerely, RL Hill
Well I‘m just a boy, meanwhile a man, living in Germany. I remember my first english lessons at school. My friends and I learned a lot, but most I learned out of these songs. Grapevine? No idea! So I took a vocabulary book to search for this word. And what should I say suddenly the lyriks made sense. I heard it through the grapevine not much longer would you be mine you could have told me yourself that you love someone else - it was wonderful to understand what you were singing and I started to love this language more and more. Your music opened my heart for your language your country and for rock and roll music. Thank you very much for this.
From the old man down the road in Alabama it don't get any better than this 👌JOHN FOGERTY and son totally awesome and that's all I haft to say about that
SO why you voted for war criminal Putin? and you are well aware that Putin worked in the KGB department, which was also involved in the arrests and confiscation of Western records from Soviet citizens, including the CCR.
in the world the name CCR and Fogerty are synonymous and the only way of calling music. John's music is stellar, sparkling disrespectful, touches chords that others can't even touch, touches American but world themes and situations as in his latest masterpiece: Weeping in the Promised Land ..., touches hearts with high, true concepts and sanguine ... All the musicians who play with John are the wonderful interpreters of the poet Fogerty, his soul, his voice are a pure pleasure their skill together is fantastic. I was lucky enough to follow him three times in Italy and once in Chicago, I found the same emotions and the same love towards him from anyone close to me. Few people in the world can boast of arousing as many good feelings as he does!
The way he opens the show is un F´ING be lievable wowwwwwwww. Corona makes me sad, the GREAT John Fogerty makes me feel betterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
