Live at Coconut Creek on February 19th 2024. John founded the band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), for which he was the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter.
When the remaining former Creedence members play, it might sound ok, but all they will be is a cover band. John can have a different band every single performance and it will always be Creedence!
Just curious what do you call Ozzy Osbourne because he left Black Sabbath and what do you call Black Sabbath because Ozzy Osbourne left you do realize Elvis Presley never always had the same band members and the final recording of the doors actually used part of Elvis Presley's band the lead singer is what makes the band. Just like Led Zeppelin who do you think owns Led Zeppelin

We moved to Lodi last May. Great place with orchards and vineyards. 2 hour day trips to all my favorite other locations. Met John many many years ago in El Cerrito just by chance back in my guitar playing days. Went to a concert of his at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. He's a class act.

Not quite the voice he once had but still excellent. Most important it is GREAT to see him embrace the Creedence era in spite of all the pain it caused him for so many years.
@JohnFogerty-q ... well... if it really is you... then I'll make a comment. I had a couple of bands back in the day and I 'tried' to play and sing some of your songs. Not easy. I loved the song Green River.
My band here in London still play this song. Brilliant CCR. Only difference we play it in A not in C as they do it. And their key change into D is too high. Okay when we modulate from A into the key of B for the key change.
