John Force isn't only a Living Legend, but is an Icon. The Force family is a blessing & I'm behind them 110% ! You can't go wrong with a great family full of #BuiltFORDTough lovers !
@garyp4205 I really don't like the NHRA show, and the same old stuff . I continue few nostalgic events .! John needs tomstepmback before he kills himself or someone else or both. John is actually a great guy ,I've dated, well someone in his family and the firm that worked for him at his shop in Yorba Linda!
I know, once you get there ,and you here and smell the nitro,it all kinda goes away! BUT,if you have been going since the 60s-70s early 80s! When my Dad started taking me every week to the drags in the 60s! 50 funny cars with the Snake ,Mongoo$e ,Jungle Jim,and 100 Fuelers and REAL Fuel Altered's ,not this cackle fest crap with cars that can't even run! See,,this what happens,I think how great it was, instead of millionaires racing other millionaires with a 300 mph billboards, then I start to get ,well, you know! Like you said ,it's all good I guess. I don't miss 1/4 burnouts,or fire burnouts, hot girls backing them up.backing up at 100 mph after a 1/4 mile burnout! They don't even run a quarter mile! I'll take the old days,I still remember it!!
@garyp4205 as soon as I put goose on there, you would point that out. My dad racing his 57 Chevy and our neighbours here in Burbank, Jim Miles ,with the Magic Muffler Altered ,and Ivo was a coupled blocks over . So I grew up watching ,I had a 69 AMC AMX ,and raced a little too ! But the money is just so much more now. I go on the cheapest day ,Friday, just to get my nitro fix,but this was a outlaw type sport. It has become too NASCAR for me . But I'm addicted to Nitro ,so as far as I know ,there is no cure,no matter how much I complain!
@Liquid bend I worked for Force for about a year ,and dated one of his daughters, then one of the girls that worked for him, I have enough parts to build a flooper ! He is a great guy,and is still nice to me to this day !
My wife bumped into Robert Height at the Ford Performance Nats., Norwalk.. She said he was so nice and didn't act like he was in a hurry, but you know he was. She asked for his autograph and he signed her visor laughing that he hoped it brought him luck because his team was struggling that day. She wears that visor everytime we go to the races. You couldn't get it away from her.
John I am so happy and proud that you and your family represent our sport as the true champions that you all are!! God bless you buddy. Go get 17 sir. 😁.
My dad gifted me an autographed t-shirt from his hero John Force. It is my prized possession especially since my dad has passed on. He always made me laugh cause he contributed his deafness to John Force Racing. When I attend my next race, I’m gonna hunt John down and ask him to sign a tribute shirt to my dad. It’s all about dad and daughters after all.
I admire John so much. Im 53 and been watching him since late 70's. I respect him and his knowledge. Meeting him has been on my bucket list for a lonng time !!
6:45 Autumn Hight the next generation of Team Force. If she wants to race with her grandpa, her dad, and her aunts she needs to start where Team Force started in the 2000s in a soapbox car (which she did), then an alcohol dragster (which she is racing in now), before she can get her licence and race in a funny car but if she wants to race with Aunt Brittany she needs more training before she hops in a dragster.
