sounds like john is thinking its time to step aside and hand it to Robert Hight and Austin Prock and Brittany. But the question is this is it because he is ready or the money ppl are saying they want more bang for the bucks...…..don't know but the next version of the peoples champ is matt Hagan he is got a following and I was one of them when he first hit the funny car ranks....I have been a force fan 40+ years and he is always my choice to win on Sunday but if he is out early I am with Hagan he is great with fans he has the drive and he is great with sponsors and now that tony Stewart racing has him I believe he will continue to perform. he has the exact same drive as Force does...we shall see what we see.....if this is his choice then so be it and thank you for being that guy and giving me the joy of being a life long fan .

Force has been my guy since Prudhomme and Bernstein switched to Top Fuel. I remember when he said to Steve Evans, "I saw Elvis at 1000 feet", and thought, "I love this guy". But when he loses, I root for Capps.

Force is the most loquacious, charismatic, and lovable guy in the sport. And a sponsor's dream. There is no better "bang" for the sponsor's "buck".
